Hi Gloria!! Boy, I thought I'd have more posts to read than this, but I'm glad you started today's check-in.

Uh, I made the "mistake" of making a Rhubarb Custard Cake last night. I had never tried it before, and we have rhubarb and well I was curious to see how it would turn out. I had 1 1/2 pieces and the family says it to die for.....it is.....but it's also mega high fat and high sugar. Oh well, I guess you can call it my cheat "meal" for this week! ;)

Thankfully we took some of it to friends of ours who just moved this weekend, and what's left is to be split between our 2 kids.

Makes me inclined to hop on the treadmill though, even though it's supposed to be a rest day! :p

Did you do Imax 3? I don't have that one, but of course like any Cathe addict, it's on my wish list.

Heidi

Hey girls today was a 10 mile run for me. I'm feeling great after the 5k yesterday.

Gloria- Thanks so much for the support. I hope you had fun doing Imax 3. That one seems to go buy fast but it's a good thing because it is so stinkin hard.

Heidi- Heck your cheat meal wasn't to bad. Butttt I know how it is to have that kind of stuff in the house. Good thing you were able to give some of it away.

12-Week Check-in

I did some emotional eating yesterday and indulged in red meat and ice cream among other things, but I am back on track today after that derailment.

Today is a sad anniversary for me. My best friend was raped and murdered 20 years ago today. I had a major breakthrough in my journey this morning that set me free to continue my physical transformation. If you are interested, you can read my post in Open Discussion for details.

10*10*10 was on my rotation for this morning, but I have not done it yet. I walked and danced at the lake this morning. I am still planning to do 10*10*10 tonight. I need a nap first.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

RE: 12-Week Check-in

Hey there.

Late check in for me today. It's been one heck of a busy day!

This morning I did the 2nd half of SS Tone It Up that I didn't finish yesterday and then I went to the gym and did the 20 min ITread work out for the first time. It was short but SUPER intense! It was some flat running, hill work and interval sprinting all rolled into one! I LOVED it! It was such a rush to complete it! }( }( }(

I'm off to read some more of the book I picked up on running and then hopefully one of these days I'll have the nerve to "take it to the streets".:)

Have a great night!
