Well, *sigh* back to work today and back to routine!!!


Food For Yesterday:
B - 1/2 c oatmeal (dry measure), 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg
S - 2.5 oz chicken breast, 4.5 oz new potato, 1t peanutbutter
L - 3 oz tuna, 4 oz sweet potato, 1 t peanutbutter
S - 2.5 oz lean ground beef, 2 slices sugar free whole wheat bread
D - 2. 5oz turkey breast, 4.5 oz white potato, 1 t peanut butter
NO NO - before bed I ate 4 peanutbutter whole wheat crackers....I used to eat very little carbs, I dont' know why I ate these -- I wasn't hungry

Workout For Today
Leg Endurance Workout
38 minutes, 143 calories burned, HR 112 ave, 128 max
I am afraid to go heavy on my legs, they are so big already! I stayed at 35 lbs for most all exercises

Squats 4 x 14
Plie Squats 4 x 14
Lunges 4 x 12
1 Legged dips - 3 x 14
I used my ankle weights for this:
Leg Curls 4 x 14 (10 lbs per leg)
Extensions 4 x 14
Calves
Standing Raises (heavy wt) 2 x 8 not sure how heavy to go here used 10 lb dumbells
Toe Raises 3 x 10

This is a very short time to workout for me, I am still feeling increased energy and that is wonderful!

Kathy, sounds like your new plan is going well for you so far! Can't wait for you to weigh and measure and tell us your results!:) Don't sweat the crackers, girl! No biggie!

Today is Cardio and Weights for me. I haven't done that one is ages! Gosh, I haven't done much step since I joined the gym. I've been nutty with cardio at the gym!:7 }( :p This should be a nice change.

Today is my last day of my current rotation and then the struggle begins to come up with what I want to do next! :p
 
I agree with Wendy Kathy. There are worse things then crackers. I think you did pretty good with just the crackers. I don't know what it is in the evening hours that food calls our name. Trust me a protein bar was calling my name last night. The problem is then another one called me too. I only ate half of the second guy.

Wendy- I just love Cardio and Weights. I haven't done that in a while either so enjoy. I am doing Muscle Endurance today which has been a while for me as well. I know I love the workout and the abs are killer so I know I will have a good time. Then I'm off to 30 min of Bryan Kest. I'm not doing the whole tape just the first 30 min. I have so much to do today.

Hey everyone! Well speaking of eating late, I woke up around 4am just famished! I ignored it and tried to go back to sleep, but I think it was my body's shock of doing Imax 2 for the first time yesterday. I think I'm going to up my calories today, plus I'm thinking about doing 3 calorie deficit days, and then one calorie maintenance day.

Today is supposed to be Leaner Legs but I might swap that for PLB since I've done LL once a week for 4 weeks now. Then I hope to have time to add The Bar Method Designer Sculpting. My glute and hip muscles are still sore from doing it on Monday.

Kathy-I'm with the other gals here on those crackers! And I like the leg endurance workout you posted...I may do that one this weekend.

Wendy-C&W is my favorite circuit too. It's so fun!

Karen-enjoy Bryan Kest. I was checking it out online and I am going to see if my library will get it for me thru inter-library loan so I can try it out!

For me this morning...up early as a result of going to bed early. AMAZING how that happens! LOL. I did a 3 mile run, followed by L&G! Can I just say how much I LOVE this workout? The music, the one leg deadlifts, the ankle section, TIME FLIES! I'd like to get some upper body in today sometime, since I'll be missing my workout on Saturday (I'm taking my boys camping this weekend), but we'll see.

Well I did Leaner Legs (minus the ab workout), then went right to doing The Bar Method "Designer Sculpting" which further worked the quads and especially the glutes. It also works the abs in a non-traditional way.

It'll be interesting to see what my butt will feel like tomorrow! :7

Good Afternoon ladies,

I can't believe how small our group has gotten, after we started off so big.

Today I did ctx kickbox plus biceps and abs as i didn't get a chance to do biceps yesterday. This was my first time doing this whole workout. I enjoyed it!! I also added in a half hour on my elliptical.

Gayle - i live about a hour and a half away from your sister. what a small world.

Heidi- sounds like a great butt workout!
 
Wendy- I just joined you in the world of working out at home and the gym!! We just joined a brand new gym in our neighborhood. I am so excited:)

It is weird how small the group has gotten. Do you think they have dropped out or just aren't posting because they're busy?

Well, I didn't get a chance to workout this morning. I wasn't feeling well. DH said maybe I had a bug instead of a hangover the other day since it was still lingering and hangovers don't last 3 days(unless of course you don't stop drinking). I may have something because I've been hot and cold last night and today, but I'm pretty sure Sunday's was a result of the wedding.

Since I didn't get to work out this morning, I took my bike at lunch and rode up to the bike store to buy a new odometer (50 minute ride). Once I get it installed I'll be able to start pushing my jogging miles, since I will be able to track my distance.

Hope everyone watches what they eat today and gets in their desired workout. Keep up the good work.

Hey there Sunny! Good for you!

I was never one for a gym and always LOVED to work out at home but after 3-4 years of dedicated home work outs I finally needed a change. I am sooo glad I joined! It's such a nice change and it's great to be able to bring the kiddos there so they can play while you exercise! No depending on nap time or getting up before them to exercise if you don't want to!

Does your gym offer spin? I have to get back to that. I haven't take a spin class in a couple of weeks. }(
 
12-Week Check-in

I am checking in very late tonight. I did Step and Intervals for the first time today. Fun, fun, fun! I love this workout. I love Cathe’s step choreography. I love the music in this one too. I matched Cathe’s weights for the barbell chest presses, but I had to reach for lighter weights to finish the chest flyes. I am still blown away that I thought CTX Upper Body was too easy when I did it for the first time after my first Slow and Heavy Series rotation. This is an endurance workout too, so I have obviously lost something along the way! I imagine that my chest will be sore tomorrow. I am expecting Power Circuit to be just as intense with challenging back exercises.
