GOOD MORNING!

FINALLY the yucky feeling has lifted, I can breath thru my nose again, and the stuff has stopped coming out of my nose! LOL Wendy-I hope you're doing better today as well.

Kathy-I LOVE the plan for weekend eating. I'm gonna do the same thing this coming weekend. I lost it over this past weekend, feeling sick and all....just excuses!

OK...to go with the good feeling this AM, I did Leaner Legs with abs, and added on some extras like leg extensions on the weight bench, plie squats hi rep/lo wts, pikes, etc. FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!

My mini challenge within out 12 week challenge is the fast taht the public pool here opens exactly 1 month from today! The bathing suit UNVEILING!!!!!!!!!!

Hi to everyone else - I don't have time for personals...running late and I am cutting and pasting from my YaYa journal....please forgive...

My plan for the week:
S - Muscle Endurance - Done
M - Imax 2 - yoga from my book - cardio - 55min, 340 calories burned HR 116 av/150 max
T - Get Ripped, a TJ - 84 minutes, 387 Calories burned HR 102 av/152 Max
W - Kick, Punch and Crunch - 68 minutes, 392 calories burned, HR 113 Av/146 max
T - Get Ripped, Slim and Lean, a TJ
F - Step Fit, Yoga
S - Long Yoga

Food for Yesterday
B - Oatmeal, protein powder, banana
S - egg whites, whole wheat toast
L - tuna, spinach and tomato salad, sweet potato
S - chicken breast, sliced tomato
D - Protein shake and salad!

Goal Review
Today - Water, water, water again and again - one more time....
This Week - Concentrate on cardio and burning fat!
This Month - Lose 4 lbs
This Year - incorporate some outdoor running
Ultimate Summer Shape Up Goals - comfortable size 4, increased cardio capacity, leg definition

I gained back 3 of my 4 pounds but it is also TTOM so I just don't know - i will have to weigh in again on Wednesday next week!

Good Morning Kathy and Gayle, today I did PUB and the abs from slow and heavy bi and tri's. I didn't do the ones from PUB becasue I hate that ball work after doing those bi's at the end of PUB. Then I ran on the treadmill for 2 miles. I am trying to follow Hal Higdon's advanced running rotaion for a 5K with my own twist and today he called for a 2 mile easy run or rest. I figured since I was up and had the juices going I would just hop on for two miles.

Gayle- I am so glad your feeling better. I hope Wendy is too. I hear you about bathing suits, it's like jeans but worse.LOL

Kathy- Your goal review looks good. You have really done well with eating and exercise. Those pounds gained today are probably just that pounds gained today. They'll be gone by Wed with the dreaded monthly fried. Plus with the way your going your sure to lose one or two more.

Hi ladies I haven't posted in a few days I have been so busy.I am getting in my workouts but my eating has been off to many times eating out.But the scale still says 5lb wt loss and I have lost 1-2 inches every where and -4% bf.I need to get back ontrack with eating.I will check in tommorrow and list meals and all.

Gayle: Glad you are feeling better. I am not yet up to par but thank you for asking. :) Enjoy LL. I just did that one yesterday...it had been a while and my legs are thanking me this morning!;)

Kathy: Wow, you really have it together girl! You are doing great! Keep it up and you are bound to see some EXCELLENT results at the end of this challenge!

Karen: Glad you enjoyed your EASY 2 mile run today!:)

Shelia: Sounds like you are doing fantastic regardless of your little oopsie in the eating area. No worries girl! You'll get back to it!:)

So I haven't been to the gym since last week and I really want to go but I can't run effectively with this cold and don't feel like going there and sending my cold around so that it can come right back to me so I have to avoid the urge until I am better. :-(

Today will be those blasted push ups from GS, PH U/B only + abs. This is the final week of my rotation. I am doing it out of order due to this darn cold I have. I created a rotation for myself last night while I was "high" on cold meds...lets see if I actually DO IT when this one is over. ;) I stink at creating rotations and I am even worse at following my own...I do much better at following ones that others have created for some reason...
 
Everyone sounds like they are having a pretty good week!

I have still been starving just before bed, so I have been having a bowl of cereal with skim milk. Then I am still hungry before I even get out of bed in the morning! I love the small meals throughout the day, though. It really hels me. Other than first and last thing, I do not feel hungry.

Yesterday wasa 2.5 mile run, but no weight workout. I have a feeling that I will be home tomorrow with a sick little one, so not sure about the rest of the week...we'll see! Sometimes when they are sick that means I get in more of a workout, but sometimes it means no workout at all.

Lunch today is being brought in for teacher appreciation. It will be Italian, probably salad and pasta. I'll do the best I can and say no to the dessert!

Hey ladies! Good morning!
today's workout: did p90x chest,shoulders, and triceps and I sneaked in about a 20min run here and there. I kinda fast forward some of TONY's talking and got that run in! hahaha! my arms are fried right now!

Jenn: you are a teacher? so am I! happy apppreciation, girl!!! Our principal is taking the faculty to a dinner and movie tomorrow night! how wonderful!

Everyone else seems to be doing well, getting over colds and such! GREAT workouts! Ya'll are very motivating for me! Keep up the good work ladies

Gloria~ Our PTO has been spoiling us every day with tee-shirts, treats and lunch today. It is hard to resist the goodies, but so nice that they went to so much trouble! No dinner and a movie here...but I will suggest it to my principal!! I teach fourth grade in a public school. How about you?

Hi everyone! Just popping on here to check in, I'll have to catch up later. This morning I did CTX All Step. I also found that I've lost a total of 5.4lbs since we started this challenge. I think I'll be brave and take my measurements on Saturday morning.

Hi everyone.

So glad that so many of you are having loses. I need to get control so I can join the losing club. As least I got a workout in. I did Bootcamp. It was the first time I did the full version. I was impressed to see how much I had improved in the cardio segments, so at least I have that going for me.

Has anyone used a personal trainer? I got an invite to a club and am thinking about checking them out. I already have a membership to Bally's & I tried their personal trainers once when they offered a special rate and I wasn't impressed. They were trying some new way of exercising and I didn't like it (It didn't use the machines, just medicine balls and weight plates). I like working out at home to Cathe and really don't know if I want to go back to the gym. I feel I'm in a rut but I think it is more my eating than my workouts. Why does junk have to taste so much better than healthy food?

12-Week Check-in

I went to the club again this morning and jogged in the pool. I was running late and did not have time to check-in before work. My chest and biceps are sore from Supersets, and I only did the VHS version with one set of everything. I lifted heavy though. Wow! I cannot imagine how I will feel when I return to the Pyramids.

I have more to share but will save that for tomorrow.
