Lori - That is funny and you are right -- I have been peeing constantly - I put down a gallon yesterday and working on the same today! On the eating, it used to be weird but I was determined and it only took a couple of times of their comments and mine back - I was really graphic too about the scum in your blood vessels, etc. , now they ask me how they should eat and they watch everything I eat to see what is an "OK" food and what is not. When I splurge they feel "chosen" or something it is weird but I am used to it now!!! My downfall is a horrendous sweet tooth, when I crave I do it big -- gooey chocolate and cheeries or coconut cream pie - I could swim in either - good thing it doesn't happen too often! You will do fine and they will look at you and secretly they will wish they had your discipline - I promise!!
 
A gallon of water...WOW! Maybe I should just save one DS' empty gallon jugs that I use to make his bottles and fill it up and have a goal to empty that by the end of the day!? Hmmmm...I think I like that idea! I can either squeeze lemon pieces in the jug or throw a wedge into the glass once it's poured to make it tastier! I will conquer this water thing yet! I was great at it when I was working at the bank because besides coffee it was the only beverage that was available w/o having to either head to the basement to the vending machine or out to the store next door! I didn't drink coffee constantly there either cause we made it by the pot and it would just burn if nobody drank it so I usually had a couple of cups in the morning...as many as I could chug before the pot was empty!;) Then usually one in the afternoon when a fresh pot was made. Beyond that, making a pot was a waste there...even I couldn't drink it fast enough (w/o help) to keep it from burning.:eek:
 
Bad water Girl 3# right here. It' funny because my DH actually went and bought me a Nike water bottle where all you do is squeeze it and the water comes out and if the kids knock it over it doesn't leak. It hold 32 oz and is fantastic. Did I also mention that this fantatic bottle I got at Christmas and I just busted it out of the cupboard. I have gotten two down so far. The thing is I have three little girls who I have given water since they were small. They grab water over anything eles in the fridge. Now we just have to work on there mother. I wish I could learn the habit I instilled in my girls. karen

Gayle I love p90x-I still need to do my workout for the day.
We ate breakfast not good -scrambled eggs with cheese-fried potatoe-bacon-french toast-coffee and water and I ate every bite}( but I have only ate a salad and chicken and a tad of pasta since then.
The rest of the day will be ok.Sat and Sunday are days I fall off the path a little.
I love wine or any kind of alchol-I think that is why I have gained 6 pounds since Feb. drinking way to much and eating to many jelly donuts.
I use to eat so well not 100% clean all the time but pretty close except on weekends.
I bought all kinds of good food today and no donuts

I like flavored water the( non carbanation kind)friut 20-propel- I can drink it really fast and I do like dasani with lemon added.I do drink regular water to.

This week my rotation will be
today-p90x shoulders and arms
monday-cardio coach run
tuesday-taebo impact-and powercut class
wed-cardio coach run
thurs-powercut class or muscle max
friday-tae bo bootcamp 2
sat- p90x back and bicep
sun-p90x chest-tricep-and shoulders

I better go get my measuring tape and get started see ya tommorow
 
Hello all...doing well w/the water...for me anyhow..I'm trying to drink a bottle for every cup of coffee I have. ;)

Here's my food (including what I already posted above):

1: piece of ww toast with natural p/b
2: turkey on ww bread with a bit if low fat mayo
3: veggie burger plain, apple
4: oatmeal made w/water and sweetened w/ splenda
5: tuna melt on an english muffin (ran out of ww bread.:-( ) using lf mayo and just a bit of regular cheese
6: apple & p/b
 
Hey everyone. I haven't been on the boards in a while and just saw the challenge. I would love to join ya'll.

Today is normaly a rest day, but I mowed by backyard and it me 1.5 hours. I would say that definitely counts a cardio day. :)

Here's what I've had to eat today.

Breakfast - 2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon (I know), 1 slice of whole wheat toast with no-fat spray butter
Lunch - Low-fat peanut butter on a whole wheat bagel. YUM!!!
Supper - Turkey and low-fat cheese sandwich on wheat bread with low-fat mayo, a banana, and whole grain rice cakes.
Snacks - Whole wheat low-carb tortilla and Zone protein bar.
Water - I drink Ozarka water in 1 pint bottles. I've had 3 so far today, and I'm working on my 4th.

I will post my stats and goals in the other thread.
 
Just checking in quick before I head off to bed - I'm a tired girl after this past weekend at a waterpark hotel.

I did walk three miles both yesterday and this morning with my SIL, but didn't have time for much else. We should've brought our running shoe, but didn't think we'd even have time for a walk. I ate pretty good, so I'm not worried about that at all.

I'm all geared up for this challenge and can't wait to get back in the groove tomorrow and read all the posts to get to know all of you so much better. ;-)

I will post a little about myself in that thread tomorrow and read all of yours to know who I'm cheering on!! :7

12-Week Check-in

Glory! My energy has been restored, and I feel good! If there is anything positive about not feeling good for a few days, it is the high that comes when my health is restored. After a 10-day break from Cathe’s workouts, I am delighted to report that it only took a week for my strength and endurance to return.

Week 2 of this challenge started for me this morning with Cardio and Weights. I had so much fun with this workout and was flying across the step. Cardio and Weights wiped me out last Sunday, so I knew that I was not back to 100 percent yet. Thankfully, I am now! I am planning to change my workouts every 3 weeks while following the same rotation formula.

My eating was clean today, and I drank a gallon of water. It really helps me to drink out of one of those sports bottles as well. My bottle holds 32 ounces and keeps the water cold, which makes it taste better in my opinion.

My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. I am ready to enjoy a warm bubble bath and the second segment of Total Body Stretching.

I can't wait to get started tomorrow. That's my first day of this challenge.

Tigger: I hope you read this today and if you don't, I'll post this question again tomorrow. Here goes: on your eating, are you following a certain percentage protein,carb and fat wise? 40/30/30 or something like that? where are you getting your meals from? thanks:)

Hey Gloria,

I used to zig zag my cals and eat as close to a 50c/30p/20f ratio as I could. I did that while I was actively trying to lose my baby weight. Once I got it off I stopped doing that. Now I just eat as clean/healthy as I see fit and try to eat a protein w/every meal and try to keep the fat down though I obviously do EXCLUDE it. ;-) I get my meal ideas from all over creation including some things I have "cooked-up" on my own out of just wanting to try something new.:)

Sorry if I'm not much help but I'm not exactly on a structured plan.
 
So I had DH take pics tonight...they came out AWFUL and the thing is that I know I don't look like that!!!x( I look in the mirror and smile...I look at the pics he took and SCREAM!:eek: He took pics of me about a month ago and most of them stunk too! Maybe it's HIM! :p Maybe I need to find someone else to take them for me! I just can't use pics that I don't think reflect what I really look like. I'll keep trying!:)
 
I'm late checking in for the day but here I am all the same. Today was a scheduled rest day and although I had hoped to get in some yoga or pilates, the day was just to busy.

I had no intention of having a cheat meal this weekend but we were invited to a friends house and I couldn't help myself! But I didn't overdo it and it felt good to relax and eat some goodies, I probably needed it in some way. Plus my appetite was still good later on so I must not have done too much damage.

Other than that I ate clean, and did okay on my water.

Now to get some sleep for tomorrow's workout!
