Hi!

I did the 10K spring race on the Air Force Base this morning. Cold and windy but I was feeling good!!! 39 degrees with winds to 20mph!

Finished in 52 minutes and 15 seconds. Just under 8 and a half minute miles... That is good for me...
It must be that lower body rotation I am doing!!!!

Have a Happy Easter Everyone!!! :7

Beverly, that is great. WOW-EEEE 8 1/2 MINUTE MILE THAT IS GREAT, GOOD JOB, I BET YOU FEEL ON TOP OF THE WORLD. You are sure an INSPIRATION.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

Debbie:D :)

Congratulations Beverly! What a great time.

Doesn't sound like spring weather. Maybe it was the "Wish it were Spring 10K"?

Enjoy your Easter. Bet the Easter Bunny will be good to you.

Beverly:

way to go girl!!!!!! Enjoy that runner's high, you well deserved it and now you have proved to yourself you can do just about anything you set your mind to , so what's your next goal? Half marathon?

Clare

Congratulations Beverly! I do know the feeling. Yes, I think the lower body rotation would definitely be helping...I am going to run a half marathon in May after getting over my achilles tendonitis. I would be very happy to run a 8:30 pace! Realistically closer to a 9:00 pace I bet...keep up the good work....:)...Carole

That's wonderful, Beverly! Nice time! I am up to six milers 3 days a week and I love it. I am not wearing my watch or worrying about my time and it's really terrific to run for sheer love of running. My tootsies are doing fine although I did opt for a cortisone shot for the left foot which has been troubling me and it feels great. I don't know if racing is a in the works so all you racers have to run a few miles for me when you race! :)
