100 Push-Up Challenge Wednesday!

Hey, I don't think anyone started a thread yet. I just finished! Whew! I looked again at week 5 & it scared the hibbie-jibbies out of me sooo I decided to go with week 4, Column 3. (Actually, that is prob what I am supposed to do since it is for those that can complete 26-30 and I was able to do 30 last test.)

Here are my numbers...Week 4, Day 1, Column 3:

I totally surprised myself today! I will admit that I took longer breaks then 60 seconds between. (I was doing laundry and folding clothes between sets! :rolleyes:) Do you all do your pushups slow or fast? I have found that if I go a lil' faster then I normally was, I am able to do more. Guess I sneak them in before my arms know what I am doing! Ha! I am keeping good form so I am thinking it's fine? Okay, how are you all doing?
 
No push-ups today! Yeah! :p
However the leg workout I did almost made me puke. The trainer @ the *Y* is trying to weed out the *less-dedicated* so she is KILLING us!!!! :eek:

Debbie, I noticed the speed factor also. I can pop out 7-9 really quickly, then I slow down until the end. I am also needing slightly longer breaks between sets. I'm planning on *trying* Week 5 on Monday, but time will tell! (remember too, I'm still on my knees so mine *should* be easier than what y'all are doing) My plan is to try Week 5, but give myself longer breaks if needed.

I did week 6 day 2 (column 1) yesterday: 14/14/15/15/14/14/10/10/44 (Up to NINE sets this week! Yikes!:eek:) Then I did MM upper body premix, leaving out Cathe's pushups. I have "good" DOMS today.:D Today's workout should be cardio...maybe SB.

I find that my first few sets of pushups are fast, then later I start to slow down. And I am also taking longer rests than the recommended times, especially between the later sets.
