Cathlete
TGIF - thought Friday would never get here

B - 4oz oj, coffee and potein pancakes
S - 8oz of 1% milk and vanilla protien powder
L- Have to take a client out so?????? I am going to try to stay a clean a possible

D- no clue ?? maybe pick up some fish on the way home

Tonight I am going to do Mesco week 1 legs

As for my water intake I generally drink between 100 oz to 120 oz of water a day. I have a cup that holds 25 oz so I make sure that I at least drink 2 of the them in the morning an 2 in the afternoon. Except for the morning when I drink my 4 oz of OJ and coffee the only thing I drink during the day is water even with my meals. Made that change about 4 years ago.

Morning everyone! This morning I did Meso 2, Week 3, Disc 19, Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. Had a killer workout. My upper body is fried!!

Be back later....

Good morning!

Finally got my Butts and Guts workout in this morning...Plan to do a bike ride later today if my butt and gut can handle it!

Had a major food slip-up last night... I'd been doing so good, then DH HAD to order in Chinese. I did have some of the steamed vegetables, but also a ton of the other crap that was not so good for me but ohhhh so goood... Zero willpower...Z.E.R.O.

So woke up p'd off at myself but determined to get right back on track and to leave the Chinese leftovers ALONE....grrrr.

Have a great day everyone!

Denise - You are not alone. I did not do so great yesterday, but I am determined not to repeat it today!:) Good news is it could have been worse and normally would have, but due to this check in they were just a couple of slips and not an out and out binge.:D:D:D

This morning was Meso 3, Disc 30 Shoulders, Biceps and Triceps. Workout was 1:08 and I burned 389 calories.

Hi all - Weight is still going down (151 today) which is a little scary because that is now 4 pounds for the week after no progress last week. I just hope I don't stall again or go back up. I'm committed to working extra hard this weekend on tracking and keeping my calories in line.

Workouts have been good - I have cut back my running to 3 miles a day most days and then adding on weight workouts (short ones) or cardio+weight workouts. I had been training for a half marathon which was a few weeks ago so I think part of the weight loss is my body getting comfortable with the shorter/easier workouts. My muscles probably needed to recover and release some fluid from the training.

Yesterday I ran 3 miles and did Burn and Shape (FIRM workout). Today should be a rest day but I'm getting the CLX add on workouts in the mail and really want to try them out. Tomorrow I'm going to a running workshop (Chi Running) and then Sunday I will likely do running+weights. I generally don't check in on the weekends - just too busy with kids and stuff.

Water - I don't track my ounces each day but always have a drink with me. I have a large coffee in the morning, then switch to sparkling water, then tea with lunch, then sparkling water the rest of the day. I drink still water when I run and exercise otherwise I prefer the fizzy stuff. I gave up Diet Coke on Jan 1 so it's my replacement.

Food yesterday was strange but calories were in line:

Breakfast - coffee, egg, 1/2 english muffin, fruit and walnut salad from mcdonalds.
Snack - protein bar
Lunch - leftover salad and smoked salmon
Snack - protein bar
Dinner - kids had a cross country meet and the evening was really messed up. I had an 'organic' poptart, then later a cheese stick and some salmon before my workout. DH had frozen pizza and the kids wanted cereal and bagels.

Have a great weekend everyone!

 Denise, my kids have been dying for Chinese food and I have been putting it off because they LOVE pork fried rice and the boneless spare ribs..... I know I would not have will power but make yesterday your cheat day.

Chinese food is a double whammy - the calories and the sodium!

Just wanted to add that I was having trouble getting my ticker to update. What finally worked is I went to the fun page, updated my ticker, then went to user CP, edit signature, pressed f5 and saved it.

Good morning ladies,

Yesterday's workout was Jari's Ripped 1000. I was not feeling all that great and couldn't really get into it but I did manage to finish the workout. Today is my rest day but I plan to get right back at it tomorrow. I have been focusing mostly on cardio and circuits this past week and I think it's time to get more weights in there. This weekend I hope to do an STS plyo legs workout, 4DS upper body premix and maybe some cardio.

I am still struggling with food a bit. I am making healthy choices throughout the day but evenings can still be difficult for me with snacking. It's definitely better than it has been in the past so I guess I just need to focus a bit more. I thought I lost two pounds but couldn't resist and stepped on the scale this morning and it's right back where it started. :( I don't get it, I was hoping to be making better progress by now. I think I need to keep better track of calories since I'm probably underestimating how many calories I'm taking in.

Denise, most of us do slip up from time to time and honestly I don't think I could resist chinese either. I especially like all the noodles! All you can do is give yourself some credit for resisiting the leftovers today, right?:)

Thanks guys! Now I just have to keep moving in the right direction. I know I have a couple land mines up ahead of me - 1. PMS should be coming next week 2. Whenever I get below 150, my body kicks up it's resistance and I get really hungry. So - next week will be tough!

Hi all,

Cindi, way to go on the loss!!!! Good luck next week....you can do it.

I weigh in tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Food as been right in line. DH and DD will have pizza tonight. I may treat myself to sashimi.

BM2 cardio this morning. It felt pretty good, and the calorie burn was over 500. Legs tomorrow. It will be my first leg workout since I hurt my knee 3+ weeks ago. Wish me luck.

Enjoy your Friday!!!

Congrats Cindi! Whoo hooo!!!!! Oh & BTW, don't forget the CARBS in chinese, which I love but haven't had in years. Oh what I'd give for some shrimp lo mein......

I'm down 3 lbs. :) I'm feeling much better, got all my lifting & cardio in this week, & am back on Atkins. Well, sort of. I think I'm taking in about 30 carbs a day instead of 20 but whatever, I'm active enough that I can do the extra 10. ;)

I'm not updating my ticker til next week though. I'm a-skeered of the w/e. I have no carbs in my house so hopefully I'll be able to make it, but it sure will be a miserable flippin w/e.

Good luck w/the leg w/o Melissa--don't overdo it, modify, & STOP if you start hurting! (well, the bad hurt, not the good hurt :p)

Dinner - kids had a cross country meet and the evening was really messed up. I had an 'organic' poptart, then later a cheese stick and some salmon before my workout. DH had frozen pizza and the kids wanted cereal and bagels.

Have a great weekend everyone!

LMAO! There's actually organic poptarts on the market? I've never heard this before! Too funny! I love pop tarts. Can't buy them or I eat them all.

Also, nice job on the weight loss!!! Woo hoo!

Congrats Cindi!!

I finally got my WO in this afternoon. I did Imax2 1-5, the second plyo legs disc for 20min. then the bonus legs on STS disc 2. I burned about 572 cals.

Today for dinner is usually a cheat meal. DH always wants to order out for Pizza or subs. So tonight I have a plan. I bought fixings for homemade pizza. I figure anything I make at home has gotta have less cals and fat then a pizza place would.

Thanks for the water ideas. I somehow managed to drink 60oz so far. This is really good for me.

Have a nice W/E.

Hi everyone ... I finally made it "back!"

I didn't even get on the computer for 2 days - what a crazy week! I helped with vision screening at school one day, baked cupcakes for DD's birthday and went on a 5-hour field trip yesterday with 40-some 4th graders, today I taught 7 rounds of arm strengthening for the school's Fun Fit Bears annual fundraiser, tonight is the dinner and silent auction .... tomorrow is DD's actual b-day party ... I.AM.BEAT.

Talk about food challenges - not only making cupcakes twice this week, but a fundraising breakfast at a hotel yesterday morning, the catered Italian dinner tonight (I'm loading up on salad and sneaking in contraband grilled chicken!), and here's the hardest: taking a bunch of girls to the movies tomorrow night and EATING DINNER THERE. What is healthy at the theatre that doesn't have 3,000 mg of sodium?!! So I've been extra good all week, saving up everything for the movie dilemna. Wish me luck!

Being so busy means zilch for workouts all week, which is really hard, but this was a fluke week - hopefully October will be much calmer. I'm psyched because my spin teacher is starting up classes next week (after a hiatus since May), so that'll be a nice kick in the toush.

Have a great weekend, everyone .... I'll be channeling you all this weekend!
