1 Month New Year Challenge Nov 28-Dec5

Hi everyone,
I did cardio today, but it wasn't very intense...still feeling blah. Monday I did a good circuit cardio & Tuesday I did P&P, which wore me out so that shows you how much energy I don't have! LOL
I have been sticking to my diet though, & in 3 days I have lost 3-1/2 pounds! Doesn't mean much, but keeps me going! It's really hard for me late at night when I'm having insomnia & the rest of the world (or so it seems) is asleep. That's when I really crave sugar. Don't know why. The first night I gave in & had a small smoothie which didn't seem to ruin anything. But that's the only time.
Congrats on your weight loss Lori...I lose in the waist first too. Makes it so much easier to breathe! LOL
FFD, congratulations on your 2 lb. loss too...awesome!
Nothing else feels like losing weight does. Have you noticed that?

Good Morning Everyone,
Just a quick check in.I am not sure what workout I will be doing today.It is raining here so it won't be a run and my workout room is still in shambles.But I have a few dvds upstairs I can do.I wouldn't mine doing HST and maybe a little more cardio.I also have to find the time to pack and tidy my house.
The scale was down again today:) This is what the hussle and bussle of christmas does! But it started earlier then normal this time.
I am looking forward to this weekend.Just to get away,have a few drinks,relax,maybe a little shoppping..etc.Should be fun.
I will probably get a chance to check in sometime in the next 24 hours, if not it won't be until Sunday!

Hi girls,

FFD, Ruth, and Lori, congrats on your weight loss. Way to go!

Did slow and heavy biceps, triceps, and abs this morning.

I maintained this week. I am happy because I had hosted a lunch yesterday at my house and I ate lots of junk. Went for a run last night and I was feeling a little sick from eating chocolate but I still finished and I felt great that I ran.

Lori, congrats on your new carpet too. New carpet makes the whole space look new.

Going to see Santa today, maybe buy some Christmas presents. Going to a scrapbooking crop tonight and a wedding tomorrow night. Having pics of the kids done on Saturday and going to the Nutcracker ballet on Sunday with the kids. I am tired thinking about it all!

Hello ladies,

Did terrible with eating yesterday. Truly hideous, I won't even go into the gorey details.

I did maintain my weight with yesterday's weigh in, which I am happy about.

Hi everyone!

Doing ok with eating. Blew some flex points eating cheese fries with a friend Wednesday, but I planned on it. Yesterday great, today who knows. Already used all my points and boyfriend wants me to go out tonight. We'll see. No workouts - don't really know why.

Hope everyone else is kicking butt!
 
Random question - has anyone been to the WW forums? I checked them out today - some of the people there are really harsh! Even the most shocking of posts on Cathe forums doesn't hold a candle to it! Think I'll focus my efforts here...
 
Futurefitness, I have been on the forums at WW. I post on a new runners thread and a 25 activity point per week challenge. I don't rally search around that much. I did one time invite some people to do a challenge on other threads and they were very sarcastic. What kind of experience have you had?

Went to a wedding last night, of course I ate too much. About to go so some Cathe right now. I will check in later.

Same experience you had. I looked around a bit more and there are a few focused threads that seem more supportive, but the general daily thread (which is the one most people, especially who are new) go to was very sarcastic and not supportive. And it seemed like it didn't matter what people posted up there - neutral, logical comments got blasted too!

Where is everyone? Quiet weekend. Have done well with eating - now just need to add exercise back in! Trying KPC or Cardio Kicks for the first time today. Lori, I'm impressed by a 25 AP points for week goal!

Lori and everyone -

Cardio Kicks was great! Decided to start there since I'm not all that familiar with Cathe's kickboxing - good decision. Now I know what chambering your kicks means! Nice to get back into exercise. I was surprised that kickboxing has 7 AP according to WW. I didn't find it as intense as something like Imax, which has 5 or 6 at the maximum. Does everyone think Cathe's kickboxing is in the same ballpark as traditional kickboxing (like martial arts?)

I didn't do KPC yesterday. I had a very long day yesterday, it's no excuse I know.:)

Today is Monday and I am refocused, back to counting points diligently. Off to do some Cathe. Have a great day everybody and I will check in later.
