This might be a dumb question and I'm probably just having a brain cramp, but what does it mean by 1.5s on the 1RM exercise lists?

I means you do a full rep then a half rep which then equals one rep. So for 1.5 concentration curls you go all the way up then half way up and that is one rep.
 
1.5's

1 rep = 1 full rep + 1/2 rep. If this was being used for a push up you would do one full rep followed by a 1/2 rep where you only go halfway down. Then repeat this pattern.
