    First Time Posting

Those are from STS 2.0, another good series. The original STS was released around 2009. Choreographed step workouts aren't for everyone, but Cathe has lots of different types of workouts. The premixes on the DVDs are really good if you want to add a bonus for a longer workout or use a...

    First Time Posting

Welcome FruitLoop25! I started with Cathe's Basic Step and Body Fusion, and Low Impact Step DVDs. The first one of Cathe's workouts that I really felt proud of myself after finishing was Party Rockin' Step 1, after finally nailing the choreography. The other really big one was completing STS...

So I tried S&S PHA Training

If it was me, you're welcome! :D

    Barbell plate storage

I have a weight plate holder similar to cataddict's one which also has a spot for the barbell. I have 2 x 0.5kg plates which I can use with my barbell and my EZ Curl barbell which are good for micro-loading. I also use 0.5kg wrist weights with my hex dumbbells for micro-loading. Would have...

So I tried S&S PHA Training

I do this too! :) I did all 3 rounds once and prefer to stick to 2 rounds.

So I tried S&S Cardio Slam

I only have a spreadsheet listing all Cathe's workouts, including Lives, a Yes/No column if I own them, and another Yes/No column if I've done them. I have OnDemand so there are a lot of workouts I've done that I don't own. I don't track the date I did them. In the case of Cardio Slam, I have...

So I tried S&S Cardio Slam

According to my spreadsheet I have done this one, but I don't really remember it. Which probably means I only did it once when I first purchased the S&S series, and it probably wasn't my cup of tea either. :) I really like the weight work in this series though.

Sad news from Bob & Brad YouTube

Thanks for letting us know Debinmi. That's sad news. I've watched some of their videos and even bought their yoga strap with loops. RIP Bob.

    Question regarding deadlift "imbalance"?

I had weak upper back muscles when I first started weightlifting and my shoulders would round forward. I also had tight chest muscles. I had to work on strengthening my upper back muscles and stretching my chest muscles. I found the band work and rear delts mentioned by Lady Vol Fan and...

    Unsubscribed from e-newsletter

I haven't had a newsletter like what we used to get for a while now. I used to get these once a week. I did the same as Snowlover, I skimmed these to see if there was an article I wanted to read and then would go to the website to read it. There was quite a lot of advertising in those ones...

    Unsubscribed from e-newsletter

I'm still receiving emails. I've received 16 since June 16 and yesterday, July 15 (Note, I'm in NZ so we are a day ahead of US). Mostly advertising with the odd update on the LMR bonus workouts.

    A Fresh Start

Good for you! Glad that both you and Luca are safe. I think Luca's change in behaviour is a good gauge on just how toxic your relationship was. Braille gives some good advice about protecting yourself both physically and financially. Stay strong!

    Comparing STS 2.0 to XTrain!

Exactly, I feel like I'm going to trip over my feet. Haven't tried it with a side jab. Will have to give this a go next time I do a workout with this move.

    Comparing STS 2.0 to XTrain!

Too funny! I'm with you on all those moves. I've had to do low impact on everything for over 2 years now and low impact jacks are boring. Also, I don't like the jack and jab move low impact. As for planks, I will tolerate them here and there but if I can't do a particular move and just have...

Cathe's Total Body Torch Live Workout

I like Ingrid too (pretty sure that's her name), because of how she modifies moves. I can't do jumping jacks and usually follow Ingrid who does a low impact version.

    Pelvic bone & Superman's

Yes. Before I lift, I am focusing on lengthening my legs and arms away from my torso, this engages the glutes. If I lift my legs my glutes are more engaged than when just lifting my arms.

    Pelvic bone & Superman's

It used to hurt my pubic bone but doesn't now. I don't have a lot of flexibility in my back so my range of motion when going up into back extension is limited. I focus on extending my arms and legs out in opposite directions and engaging my abs first before coming up into back extension. I...

The frequency of emails has definitely decreased in the last few days. Maybe someone noticed this thread and similar ones.

I'm doing that too. Wonder how many others are either deleting without reading or have unsubscribed.

    Unsubscribed from e-newsletter

Yes! I am getting sick of the constant advertising emails and considering unsubscribing. I already didn't like the amount of advertising in the previous newsletter but at least it was only once a week and there were other informative articles. It was only occasionally that I would get other...
