    Getting back in the groove

Hi Cathe, I need your advice. I've been 5-6 day a week exerciser for the past 7 years. Mostly at home videos and classes at the YMCA. For the past 4 months I've been distracted by LIFE and got off the exercise track. I didn't realize until today how much endurance I've lost. (I did...

    Read any good books lately?

If you enjoy suspense Harlan Coben and Dean Koontz are both great authors. I just finished "The Innocent" by Harlan Coben and "Velocity" by Dean Koontz. Both of these books kept me guessing until the end, I could not put them down. Jen

Is Turbo Jam for advanced exercisers?

This morning I saw the infomercial for Turbo Jam and it claims you can burn 1,000 cal/hr. The testimonials I saw were all people who were not exercisers before they did Turbo Jam. So my question is has anyone tried it and would you consider it advanced? Jen

    What Did She Say???

Cathe also says slap clap in SJP. If any of you have kids maybe you're familiar with the cartoon "Jimmy Neutron". The character Bolbie has a dance he calls the slap, slap, slap, clap, clap, clap. I think of Bolbie when Cathe says slap clap. Kids make you think of the darndest things. Jen

HSA OR HSC WHICH IS BETTER?

Thank you everyone for their input. Sorry about the confusion with the abbreviations. I did mean High Step Challenge and High Step Advanced Training. I still haven't decided which DVD, but thanks again for taking the time to give me low down on each one. Ciao Amigos, Jen

HSA OR HSC WHICH IS BETTER?

I am slowly adding to my Cathe DVD collection and I was wondering what is the difference between High Step Advanced and High Step Challenge. I need input from experienced Cathe exercisers so I know which one to purchase next. Please give your reasons why you like one better than the other...

    Music

I don't have as many of Cathe's DVDs as many of you, but IMAX 2 the first 3-4 songs definitely motivate me to push hard. I really like driving drum beats with dancing techno music. The updated versions of recognizable songs on that dvd are pretty good too.

    New compilations with old routines

I just bought terminator and I LOVE it. Maybe you could put together of DVD using routines from the hardcore series with the intensity series, body blast series etc. Mixing KPC with some IMAX. Take the best from each DVD. The possibilities are endless.

    food guide

I notice that Cathe is reluctant to give out advice on diet. But lets face it we are all dying to know what she eats to stay in great shape. Maybe she could team up with a nutritionist and put out a guide to healthy eating.

Reminder: Honey We're Killing the Kids

I also thought the nutritionist was lacking in the personality department. I didn't think she was very supportive or encouraging. For instance, this family has been living on fried foods, salt, sugar, and take-out, so who came up with the great idea to have their first healthy meal be TOFU...

    frustration with heart rate monitor

Hi Cathe, I just want to quickly say "thank you" and "YOU ROCK!!!" Now for my question. I recently purchased a heart rate monitor to figure out my calorie burn. I have Imax 2 and KPC. When I do these workouts I am with you the entire time, I don't stop or modify any of it. (Needless to...
