Thanks to the AM exercise posters!

RE: Laventi...get back in here... My kids are 2 and 4. My daughter (4) likes to workout too! She makes up her own "routines"!:-) My son sees Cathe on the TV and thinks it is me, so I am still enjoying that while it lasts! Soon he will be smart enough to know better! (We are still think about...

Thanks to the AM exercise posters!

RE: Laventi...get back in here... I am a Mom with two kids who never slept, never napped, etc. so that was the only window of time I could find to get my workout in. Everyone thinks I am crazy (and, I admit, I am a little!), but I love that I can spend the rest of my day doing all the other...

Thanks to the AM exercise posters!

Hi Runathon! My hat is off to you - I am usually beginning my workout by 3am, I get up about 20 minutes prior. It is the only time I have to myself. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone! Take care, Lynn :-)

DVD Disappointments -- Wish I had Stayed with VHS

This has happened to me as well. I do not have the IMAX DVD, I was waiting to get it when my VHS tapes started to go, but I have had the same problem with the Cardio Kicks/Circuit Max DVD. I agree, it is VERY frustrating/annoying/etc to be interrupted in this manner in the middle of a workout -...

    Hey Francine!

RE: Lynn! Hi Francine! I will order those videos on the tubing so I can start incorporating that as well. I told my husband about your experience at the conference and he is on board for me to do it. Now I just need to find a good one! I have done a lot of subbing to date, but just got three...

    Hey Francine!

RE: Lynn! Hi Francine! I know you are right - currently where I teach am known for introducing new ideas in my classes. The participants are so excited to be getting fresh stuff and adding another dimension to their workourts. Currently I get my ideas from books, magazines, and videos and,like...

    Hey Francine!

RE: Sherry! Hi Francine. I loved reading your post - I don't know if my husband could handle a w/e alone with the little ones but your post makes me think it may be time for him to take the plunge ! I definitely enjoy bringing new things to my classes and would love to attend such a conference...

AM exercisers: how do you do it?

If I don't do it early, I won't get to do it (I have two kids)- and that's what I tell myself when I don't want to get out of bed! After you start, it does become second nature - and it is such a feeling of accomplishment to get a jump on the day.... Good Luck!

    Cool push-up variation

Hi Annette! I am going to try this one - thanks for sharing. I was just telling my husband that I really want to start building up my push-up strength. I did a set in class the other day where I had them do 10 regular tempo push-ups, followed by 10 "walking" push-ups, followed by 10 push-ups...

    Cathe CD

Hi Sharon! I just got the CD and LOVE it. I have the IS, but hearing the music on the stereo is more powerful. I'm sure it will rock in the club. Thanks again for encouraging me to get it! Lynn

    Cathe CD

Can anyone out there sell me on this? I waiver back and forth on whether or not to order. Has anyone had the chance to try in their class yet. If so, was it a hit?? Thanks for your help! (I wish CTX CD was available, too!). Lynn

    Sports oriented tape

I would love to see a sports oriented tape with moves from the training regimens of athletes (i.e. football, basketball, track&field, etc.). Lynn

    New Video Poll

Hi Cathe! This may have already been suggested, but I would love to see a sports oriented tape with moves taken from the training regimes of althelic teams - i.e. football, track & field, basketball, martial arts. I think this could be a great "kick your butt" workout. Thanks for listening...

    instructor advice

Thanks Cathe. Many of the classes I listed are classes I am subbing for, I should have mentioned that. For some reason there have been a flood of sub opportunities this month. Anyway, I am going to back off a little, I want to enjoy teaching and overloading my schedule is not conducive to my...

    instructor advice

Hi Cathe! I am a new instructor and need some advice. This month I am teaching almost every day - hi/lo, step, kickbox, weights, and bootcamp. Some days I teach 2 classes, others just one, I have one day with three classes. My problem is that most of the classes are intermediate at best and I do...

    Cathe Gear Coming Soon!

My biggest problem in buying fitness gear is always pant length, so please don't forget the petite! But not too short, some petites are even too short for me at 5'1-1/2". The length of Cathe's pants in Power Hour, for example, are perfect. The style of pants I like are form fitting, boot leg...

    Who's tried Boot Camp

Hi Sharon! This workout is awesome - so much variety. The cardio sections consist of some great drills that get you breathing pretty hard in that one minute! It incorporates kickbox in both the lower body toning as well as the cardio segments. I loved the core work also - non traditional ab...
