Hi Iris,
I didn't really get into great depth because I just read parts of the book. I'm not really looking at a diet for weightloss, but just a healthy diet. I was really impressed with her view on HRT. I had a breast biopsy last Dec. that came back pre-cancerous, so I quit taking my...
I was wondering if anybody has any input on Diane Schwarzbein books, The Schwarzbein Principle and her follow up book The Transition? Hubby and I went to Border's Friday and I read parts of both books. From what I read, it seemed like sound advice, although some of her ideas sounded a bit...
Thank you all so much! I'm hoping to be able to go to Oregon at the end of September. I am so excited and feeling kind of delirious. I CAN'T wait to see my granddaughter. It was so very special. My second oldest son(who just graduated from college and is going to be a pediatrian) lives with...
Welcome Lisa! It's great to have you here! You will find much knowledge, guidance, and just plain ole' support on this forum. You'll love the Pyramids!:D It took me a few times doing them before I really got hooked on them. They're a lot different than Cathe's other strength vids. And...
I'm doing fine, Bobbi, thanks for asking. I'm sooo sorry to hear about your foot. Geez, I can't believe what a difficult time you've had!:( I hope by the time the new series is out, you'll be back to you old self!

I'm a Gramma!! I'm a Gramma for the very first time!:7:7:7 My daughter has been in labor for the last two days, so I've been too nervous to do ANYTHING but pace the floors. She's in Oregon and I'm in AZ so I've been going crazy! Anyway, she had a healthy baby girl who weighed in at 7lb.11oz...
Bobbi,
I'm glad you had a GREAT vacation. Boy, you have had a long haul with your foot! I know you're a fighter and you'll come back a stronger person for it!:7

RE: Hi Pam!
Hi Pam! I've been wondering where you have been too! I sort of figured it had something to do with your pregnancy. I'm glad you're feeling better and up to working out again!:7 Keep posting....you're posts are always so cheery and uplifting. I always look forward to reading...

Hi Kellie!
I can't answer all of your questions, but I can answer a few!:P First, I would definitely go with a multi-disc player. I used a single disc for awhile and then got a five disc and the different possibilities with a multi-disc are endless.
I haven't taken the time to program my...
I like Tamilee Webb's Beginner's Stretch for Flexibility. It's a great overall body stretch. I do it when I'm just too tired to do yoga. Also, I do like Karen Voight's Pure and Simple stretch. She is kind of "wooden", but I think the stretches themselves are good!:D:D:D

Hi Bobbi!
Good too "see" you! I hope your enjoyed you vacation! AJ received an email not too long ago with an update of what's going on. I'm not sure how to get there:P, but it's probably on the second page of Open Discussion by now. HTH a little!:7
BTW, how is you foot? Are you able to...
RE: Runathon...
If you're looking for advanced choreography, Rhythmic Step is great. I think Imax2 and RS really have that "fun" factor goin on!:D
Oops, I just read what Runathon posted and this is almost a carbon copy of what she said!:P

I agree with Debbie that you just might have to get both! They are very different workouts. PLB/PUB moves very quickly. You can't beat the stability ball floorwork in PLB. PS is much slower, so I think you can go concentrate on going heavier. JMHO. :D

Hi Rhonda,
I got mine at Sports Authority on sale for $10.00. The brand is TSA. It's been great so far. I think it's usually $25.00 or so.
HTH!:D

Hi Debbie!
Have a blast in Vegas! I moved there right after I graduated from high school in 1974. I was only 18, so too young to go to any of the casinos or the shows. We did sneak in a couple of times.}( We saw Freddie Printze on his honeymoon, Liberace walking in the mall, and Totie...
Hi bq, CTX upper body has always been my favorite Cathe weight workout!:D I'm ALWAYS sore when I really put my all into CTX upper. I think CTX UB and LL is still are still the toughest workout's Cathe has put out to date.
I, like you, had to rewind and fastforward each weight segment on CTX...
