I just learned about Cathe and need start up help

Timesaver 5 Day Rotation and Cross Train Xpress are my favorites because they are under an hour - great for busy schedules! I would say the best thing to do is ANYTHING! Just get moving - even a 20 minute walk will help. & as has been mentioned before, eat "clean". At 57 my matabolism (sp?)...

Boot camp /I did it !!!

note to self - do NOT eat ice cream before BC!!! it was only 1/4 cup of home-made vanilla, but I could feel the fat & it almost made me nauseous during the workout. I know I didn't work as hard as I wanted:( oh well, there is always next week... but I did do all but one terminator!! That's...

    Anyone have any new goals?

OK all you young chicks, I'm going for "Sensational at 60!" One look at my peers is enough motivation! Adding muscle is almost impossible at this age, but flexibility, stamina & maintaining muscle are key goals for the next 2 years:7

    Anyone have any new goals?

Clare, thoughts & prayers are with you. I know how debilitating depression can be. I have found that exercise, while seeming impossible, is a powerful tool to help relieve some of the depression. A Cathe workout may be too much, but just a walk will help. "Just take one more step" & "don't...

    Estoven, Menopause & Balance....

I've been "flashing" for almost 5 years now. My suggestion is that you do some serious investigation into estrogen before you consider supplementing it. The increased risk of heart disease and/or cancer can be much worse that the usual symptoms.

Anyone Else Not Have Kids By Choice?

Great answers! Here's the perspective of a mother to one, stepmother to 5 & grandmother of 8, You are NOT selfish. The selfish ones are the ones who have children because they think it is the thing to do, & then farm their children out to in-laws, grandparents, & daycare!!!!!!! If a couple...

    Tipping the Massage Therapist?

I think it depends on whether you went to a spa or the MT's home. My MT works out of her home & I don't tip her. I do give her a Christmas gift - maybe 60-100% of the cost of a massage. At a spa, I think the 15% rule is a good one, & more if they are really great - just as others have said...
