    bent over rows

Hehe, I guess it's nice to know I'm not the only one with a weak back! I hate it though; as I mentioned, I want to work my back muscles harder, bleh! Oh well, we do what we have to for substitutes as melissa mentioned. Good luck and wish me luck too with one-arm rows:).

    bent over rows

Thank you Melissa. I still haven't dared to try anything bent over quite yet but I'm planning to later this week. I'll try the one-arm rows to keep the weights up, but as you mentioned, I may be one of those people who'se back can't handle the "bent over" stuff anymore. How frustrating!

    bent over rows

I hurt my lower back doing these last week and it's still so tender! Yes, I was being careful about form; not rounding my back, keeping my knees soft not locked, etc.. but still managed to injure myself. I am obviosly going to be taking a little break from these while I recover, but I'd like...

    I'm thankful for...

I'm thankful for Liann's funny stories too! When I was pregnant my thighs grew as much as my belly, but my behind stayed relatively small. You can only imagine how goofy I looked waddling around; pants on right or not they never fit all three parts at the same time! PS, do I need to learn about...

Who tends your kids while you work?

Melanie, how old whas your little boy when hubby was able to take over at home? I'm hoping to only work full time for a few years if it's possible then go back to part-time hours. I want to be more flexible by the time my little girl goes to kindergarten.

Melissa thank you so much! I feel much more prepared now. Thanks for taking the time to share these. You are wonderful!! (now only if I didn't have to use them...)

Who tends your kids while you work?

Melissa, Yes, PLEASE I would love to see your interview questions and agreement. I am almost sick about leaving my little girl with someone other than her grandmas! It would be great to see your list, thank you so much!

Who tends your kids while you work?

Right now I've only gone back part-time so it's worked out that my own mom or MIL can watch my little girl. Unfortunately the part time thing isn't going to last forever and the grandmas both have jobs and schedules of their own so this arrangement won't last either. I am SO scared of leaving...

    Emergency slim down?!

Kathryn, I will definitely try your green smoothies. I do realize 10 lbs won't fall off that fast, but if I can fake as much as I can in this time crunch I will be more prepared to meet and greet the masses. (I have to schmooze with all the long lost "friends" you know;))

    Emergency slim down?!

Ok, great advide friends, thanks. I went to the farmer's market this morning and stocked up on veggies. Now I'll have to go find lots of fish too. I hadn't thought of it, but Traci you are right, three weeks will get me into the habit of better eating to boot! I'll get some spanks to wear under...

    Emergency slim down?!

I have a wedding to go to that snuck up on me in three weeks. Of course there will be people there who I haven't seen since before I had my little girl and got all rolly-polly:( I know it's not good to go on crash diets but I don't want to show up looking frumpy. I have about 10 lbs. to lose...

    PB2

I also tried it a couple of years ago and wouldn't buy it again. As mentioned, you go through more powder than you think and it ends up not being worth the money.

    diet is what works best

I think this post was meant for me today. I am always trying to compensate for my bad eating with more workouts; and it turns into a cycle. I exercise so hard that I'm ravenous and eat everything I can get my hands on, then feel the effects of my overeating and exercise so hard again... Thank...

    Looking for input- Mirena expereince

I LOVE mine. I had one before we decided to have our first baby. As everyone else has mentioned, the insertion was my one and only con. I even took the next day off of work. I just had my little girl and at 8 weeks postpartum I had another one inserted. This time was SO much more comfortable...

    Stretch Marks

Thank you both for your input; I need to relax a little about this postpartum phase in my life, but it's so hard to see your body change in ways you can't control! It's encouraging to hear that both of you have returned to a shape you were happy with, it helps me be patient while I get back on...

baby's lack of movement is freaking me out

Remember too that the bigger they get the less room there is to wiggle around. I was like Stephenie and would get busy during the day then come home from work and have a little freak out cause I didn't count the movements. Call your doc anyway even if you feel silly; it's better than feeling...
