Which workouts are you referring to? Cathe used different weights on different videos. Some videos she used metal plates, others she used rubber coated plates.

Have you tried Power Hour. Muscle Max, or Muscle Endurance? they are similar to Body Pump--the music is different but the workouts are AWESOME!

WalMart, CostCo, HomeDepot, Pep Boys all have waffle mats. They are awesome & relatively inexpensive. I think Pep Boys has the least expensive but I think they are also the "thinnest." I got mine at WalMart in the exercise equipment area for about $17 for 4 2ftx2ft mats.
