30-40 minutes to work out--Is it enough?

This summer I was killing myself working out at least 60 minutes a day, 6 days a week. I thought that I had to do that to lose weight. Then I took two weeks off due to traveling, during which I rested and relaxed a lot, didn't overeat, but didn't eat terribly clean, either, and no exercise. I...

Took 2 weeks off and saw positive changes!

I was getting very down on myself because I was working out 6 days a week at high intensity, eating pretty clean and not seeing any changes. I was also exhausted and stressed because of our impending move (waiting, waiting, waiting to find out WHEN!) So a couple weeks ago I decided to take my...

    Feeling guilty!

Hmmm, I'll try to find the 'Airborne' stuff in Boots before I board. Can't take any liquids on the plane, but if it's just tablets I'll be able to take it on. Thanks for the tip!

    >Melody, I'm sure your DH will be thrilled:) Maybe just one >pair of boots? Naked with boots works, don't ya think?}( Boots and naked is ALWAYS a good look - according to my DH.}(

    Fall Clothes

I like the jeans tucked into high boots look - wore that a lot last fall/winter. Super dark jeans are fab too. I totally agree w/ picking and choosing to find what works w/ what you already have, and what suits your figure. I totally do that. Some of the colors they are showing I just can't...

    Fall Clothes

Love, love, love that sweater from Banana! Great look - I'd bet you could find something similar elsewhere for less. But even for $128 - I love it! Love wrap dresses w/ tall boots, too. I wear that look a lot - it's classic, cool and comfy! Guilty confession - I've lived in the UK for nearly...

BE HONEST - How much do you spend on clothes a year??

I refuse to answer that on the grounds that I may incriminate myself! Bear in mind, I am spending GBP Pounds rather than Dollars - everything is way more expensive over here! But I do buy a lot of loooovely clothes.:-) My DH says I'm worth it.}(

    Fall Clothes

    >Ooooh, I love the pics! Especially the top! > >I'm trying so hard to find knee-high boots that I like. I've >bought two pairs in the past two years and I don't much like >either of them. I'll keep searching though. Can't live >without my boots. I really like Nine West boots - have 3...

    Fall Clothes

    >Now we're talkin'!!! Thanks Steph! > >I know what you mean about the elf boot thing. I think I >could only wear ankle boots with long pants. > >Talk to me more about these wrap dresses.... they sound >interesting. You know, like the Diane von Furstenburg dresses? They've been...

I currently live in Surrey, UK, about 1/2 an hour SW of London. We are planning on moving to the Seattle area before the end of the year.

    Fall Clothes

I haven't really started thinking fall clothes too much, but am starting to. I love the cropped trousers w/ boots! Wore that quite a lot last year. Vests too - so cute! I like straight leg jeans & trousers, but not skinny (doesn't suit my body.) I'm still wearing my Gap Long & Lean jeans...

    Feeling guilty!

Hi everyone - how are you doing in fitness land? I am feeling so guilty! I caught a bug and had a low-grade fever earlier this week. I've been resting since Tuesday, and feel better today (no fever) and am feeling very guilty about not working out. I am flying to Seattle tomorrow w/ my 8yo DS...

Shelbygirl - how was your trip to London? Urgent ? for you

How was your trip? Hope you had fun - the weather was pretty good this weekend. I have a security ? for you. Were you allowed to take lipstick or chapstick/lip balm on board when you flew from London back to the US? Everything I've read says absolutely no cosmetics or toiletries at all in...

    RED INK

    >>one of my favorite remarks to them when they do whine needlessly, "Get over it, life is not and never will be fair." AND I also hug them, kiss them, laugh with them, play with them, cry with them, and worship the ground they walk on... << DH and I are the same way w/ DS! We love him...

    RED INK

That's just silly. Red is a high-contrast color - shows up well against black/white or grey/white. When I've ever proofed my own stuff I use red ink so that I can make sure to see the changes. I agree - it's PC BS!

Adri, where did you find Cathe's top from Drill Max?

I'm pretty sure the pink/white tops are Nike. They are the same design as the green Nike tops in LIC, and Cathe's wearing it w/ the same Nike pants from LIC.

do all men cheat? warning, kind of explicit

No, not all men cheat! I'm sorry you've been w/ such a manipulative jerk - you're much better off w/o him. Stay true to yourself and you will find a man who cherishes and values you, your body and your wishes, and who values monogamy. They are out there - I've been married to one for 13 years...

    Jeans for fall!

I'm 5'8", have hips, but not a pear, more an apple. Gap Long & Lean fit & flatter me the best, but I've also had good fits w/ Gap Bootcut and Straight Leg cuts. I have a long torso, so many of the trendy low-waist jeans are undecently short on me - so short you can see my c-section scar! So I'm...

I'm so glad the surgery(s) went well. Tell Wil that my 8 yo DS Cole chose a red cast this week too! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
