When he does really fast rep counts, such as the barbell curls, I will start like 5 seconds early and then I usually finish when he does. But, I agree, even the hamstring work on the legs disc.... he's ridiculously fast. But, i like the program.
I think I did something, somehow because my right hip (flexor) hurts. It hurts when I pull up my leg to put pants on and the pain kind of radiates through my pelvic area.

I, too, never follow the nutrition programs included with the workout set. I use the clothes-feel method to monitor my weight.
I agree about insanity. I bought it and used it less than five times. I will never do it again. It is too intense (insane) for me. I'm all about remaining injurt free.
Beast is a good program. I like his use of minimal equipment, the variety that I incorporate with Cathe's workouts, and the fact that the background exercisers don't use ridiculous amounts of weights...they are comparable to what we cathletes would use.
