    Question on Personal Training Certification

I've been a fitness buff for 30 years (since 14), and I'm an RN, I decided to teach Turbokick and Zumba and became ACE certified in 4 hours with a test! I've had the BEST teachers who were certified in nothing, and awful instructors who were certified in everything!

I think I'm giving up on jeans.

Gap reverse fit worked for me...but since Eva Longoria started wearing the baby blue, pink, light green running suits on Housewives, THAT's what I"M talking about!!!! Much softer and forgiving!!!!

I ordered P90X+ today!!! Merry Christmas to me!

DRAT! I want it too!!!! You better get exercising and do every single one the day you get them then stay up all night and tell us about them ok??? By the way, you seem nice, can I order from you? Seriously, as a MDB coach, and Cathe-ite, I"d rather support you than the BB corp as a whole!

Anyone have any New Year fitness resolutions?

Yup, a cortisone shot to my shoulder, then the new P90x+, then STS - don't know about you all, but Cathe's muscle classes are plenty aerobic for me, I easily get above 70 percent of max!

    Girls Next Door

I have to agree with Bam, it a wierd way, its a very family oriented show - Hef, viagra and all, is NOT a sexual animal anymore- vitamin V only does so much (I'm a nurse and old folks have not spared me the painful to hear details of Viagra's limitations - not theirs you realize, the drug's!) -...

How many classes per week for instructors to teach?

I have ACE - last year I taught 9 hours a week - feeling no big deal since 4 were water classes and often I taught from outside the pool (though with my bellowing and jumping along, I was always drenched!)...my rotator finally wrenched into agony, my mcls on both knees are strained.....I'm 46...

Looking for stainless steal cookware set

All clad is awesome, but pricey - Kuhn-Rikon is excellent and you can sometimes find overstocks in TJ max...stick with 18/10 stainless - very good for you - and won't kill your muscles like cast iron would!

    Sicko

Our ER regularly has people lined up in hallways and out the doors, and this is a small and affluent town....its worse in the heavily populated countries..we are short of nurses and doctors and folks have sat hours with injuries such as those suffered by your poor family....that the resources of...

Carola, I did not know that - Hell - then we ARE in worse shape then the French and Germans!!!! As far as Michae Moore - he's radical, but he's bringing attention to the reality of our crisis....and you won't know it until someone you love or you gets a catastrophic debilitating illness....I...

    Sicko

I've cared for lots of Canadiens and the system, with its flaws, seems to work better than ours....about waiting to see a specialist - go try and schedule an appointment here with a neurosurgeon - you wait here too! France is taxed heavily and enables alot of nonsense...I lived there a year...

    Sicko

He's not off the mark in this one. My mom, a social worker with the dregs of society for 30 years had her job eliminated when she was 62, no one would hire her and she couldn't afford COBRA benefits and ended up on medicaid. When my grandmom died, who she took care of, she couldn't afford the...

For those who've had vision correction surgery

I had it at 41 - being practically legally blind to 20/15 was, I kid you not, a miracle that gave me chills....yes, it will speed the process of farsightedness that comes with age.....it really didn't hit me till this year - I'm 46, can still see 20/15, but I need reading glasses - not for the...

Anyone else think that Jari's R&C is bo-rrrring?

Her obvious underweight situation aside, she is a warm and sweet lady - I sent her company an email thanking her for making kick butt workouts that everyone can afford (ahem, snm you listening???) - and she sent me back a personal message - and her whole gang works together - they seem like very...

    Question on iPod--clueless

Oh Goodness, 4 g is actually overkill for a 10 year old! The shuffle runs around 79 dollars and would be fine for her, or the least expensive nano......creative zen and the sony bean are popular with kids too and you are not limited to Itunes for your purchases ....I do like ipod because...well...

    P90X: Weights or Bands?

Well on VF they sold me on the Flowbar - it goes over even the skimpiest door and can be used for pullups and core stuff, and that way you can do the "pullups" without a chinup bar...well, check it out....I sent a letter to the flowbar folks asking for a Christmas sale for all we p90x plus...

    PROBLEMS WITH COWORKER

This woman, primitive being that she is, is creating a hostile work environment and taking away from your ability to do your job. If she were a MAN, she'd be up on charges for sexual harassment..this is abuse, and your right to work in an environment free of abuse is upheld by the law...as...
