    After STS

Not sure. I'm on M3, doing plyo legs now and I was thinking I might do M3 again with a squat rack IF I'm able to get a squat rack before I'm done with M3. If I had a gym membership I'd do one of the routines over at FigureAthlete. There's always something in their routines that requires...

Reese, I am so sorry. Sending prayers for strength your way :).

    Australian Couple vs. Bank

So true. And doesn't that make you sick?

Is this an insanely stupid question, or remarkably brilliant?

I think so, too. At least in the case of Suave's Cocoa Butter with Shea lotion. It smells like coconut and vanilla and makes me think of yummy things I wish I were eating. These days, I stick with floral scents:confused:!

    Australian Couple vs. Bank

As I said, I wouldn't do it. Two wrongs don't make a right and God is watching. However, had that silly woman not continually logged onto Facebook (making their capture pretty mush a sure bet), I would still think it funny. As for why I hate banks, it started long before the bank bailout...

    East of Eden, the miniseries

Oh my God. Sam Bottoms died from brain cancer last year! I had no idea. He was so wonderful in EOE. That scene where he set the dollar bills on fire, one-by-one... I loved Caleb and Abra, the way both were so wounded but you knew they were going to go on to be alright when they finally got...

Just when I thought I knew what I was doing...

Great. Another "news" article guaranteed to make all the sofa spuds reach for another Cheeto while watching tv because nothing they do matters... Lord, everyone should know by now that saying "You can't work out a bad diet." And does anyone still not know that diet is at least 80% of the...

    Speaking of hornets' nests . . .

On CNN last night there was a roundtable discussion and the figure was repeated many times. Even the naysayers present did not disagree.

    Australian Couple vs. Bank

I can't believe nobody's brought this one up so I will. Okay, the Australian couple who abandoned their lives and went on the run when they realized their bank made a mistake and put millions into their account... I'm too freaking honest to do it myself but I hate banks and am totally rooting...

    Cats and white leather furniture?

I just don't know. I have five cats (and the last remaining Kitchen Cat/stray, who has claws, will probably be officially joining the family) and their personalities are all different. I think only one pushes off the velvet chair but anything can happen. It will be a long time before I have...

    East of Eden, the miniseries

Is FINALLY on dvd at Amazon.com. So very many times I have wanted to recommend this awesome production to all lovers of great stories and brilliant performances but it was out of print. I have an old scratched-up VHS tape and had long gotten out of the habit of checking over at Amazon to see...

    Okay, that was funny.

    Trouble with bears

If I were a bear I'd be so d*mned mad about having my habitat destroyed by developers I'd behave like the bear in the TUMS commercial... all the time. Food. Cars. Bee hives. It's all good. One day, I'm going to be that really old lady at the grocery store, counting out my pennies in the...

    Speaking of hornets' nests . . .

Number 1: The type of cancer the boy has, at the present stage, has a 95% cure rate. To not save this boy is, in my view, child abuse - a result of irresponsible behavior by the mother that will surely cause her son's death. Were that to happen, I'm sure a case could be made against the mother...

Just to stir up a hornet's nest, what does everyone think about this?

I'm not suffering from terminal cancer and have no real knowledge of what pain the people around me (and their loved ones) are going through. Like many things, it's a deeply personal choice and, ultimately, none of my business. But I believe in the God of my heart, that he knows all, and has...

    Cats and white leather furniture?

Oh man. I'm really glad all of you responded, though I'm pretty disappointed. Lots of stuff to consider... But I must say I'm especially interested in the whole invisible fence thing, though it would mean special collars for SIX CATS... My brother did this in his living room and only Chewy...

Mom's what would you do if.....

You're right. They're wrong. And they sound A LOT like the crazy co-workers who force me to keep my ear buds planted in my ears. I don't know where I heard or read this but I recently came across this statement: "You are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with." You do not...

What do all you single people eat/cook for yourselves?

I'm single, work a lot of hours and don't cook because my kitchen is tiny and I have nowhere to set anything, nor can I find anything. But I gotta tell you, one can only heat up so many chunks of meat in a skillet, boil so many chicken breasts, fry so many egg whites, and nuke so many...

    Cats and white leather furniture?

You are giving me hope. Also, one of the customer reviews was from a woman with big dogs and she said they're on the furniture all the time, with no damage. Dogs have claws, right? My cats don't dig their claws into any other piece of furniture in the house but that velvet chair. I'm...
