Amy, the girl who did the interview made it very comfortable for me to talk in front of the camera. She asked if I did a lot of interviews since I was "a natural", lol. I think I did well because I really like the class, and was able to communicate how much it has helped me stay in shape. I am a...

Cendrine, I have never heard of kiwi berry bushes but would love to try them. The local news came and filmed the AG class today, the guy walked around filming and would get close ups, so uncomfortable. They interviewed a young guy and myself. It won't be airing for another month, they told me...

Today is AG airbarre, I love this w/o because it reminds me of turbo barre. It has the plies and uses the ballet principle, but the hammock is your bar so you use your core a lot more. I am taking an AG bootcamp class on mon. It supposedly is a "core crunch" bootcamp. I am anxious to try this...

Exerciers with physical health challenges new check in

Hi ladies, I had another 2 days of private lessons in my AG classes since no one else showed up. We worked on more advanced moves that they cannot teach in a normal class, so fun. A few moves were a little scary since you are literally trusting the hammock to support you, she spotted me the...

I have been very fortunate that this type of yoga has come to our area, normally they are only in the big cities. If you want to see what these classes entail you can google antigravity yoga and airbarre, seeing these videos made me so curious. The fact that the classes haven't been packed...

Today was STS 30 and RWH ABS. After doing yard work all weekend this was somewhat more challenging than last week. We had a beautiful weekend so I got a lot done. Tomorrow will be AG and yoga. I did my AG airbarre today, I felt really good today so I even stayed and did a yoga class. The twice a week yoga and AG classes really seem to have helped my knees and back. I am not really getting any cardio, but so far it doesn't seem to hurt. I have been really good about eating clean so I...

Exerciers with physical health challenges new check in

Hello Amy and Cendrine, It sounds like you guys are both doing well. I am slowly getting some relief from my knees and back as long as I don't overdo it. I am doing the antigravity classes twice a week, yoga twice, and presently on meso 3 of the STS. I don't do the leg w/o's since they are a...

    Wrist pain, yoga gloves?

I think you will love the WAGS, they take some getting use to esp with the pushups but I cannot w/o without them. I had the same issues with wt lifting gloves esp once I started going heavier, the thicker padding in the WAGS and the added wrist support really helps.

    Wrist pain, yoga gloves?

I have 2 pairs of wags the ultra, $54.95, and the flex $29.99. At first I used the flex for everything, wt lifting included. At first I didn't like using them for the wt lifting but with all the planks and pushups I really needed the support. I have gotten so used to using them that I have...

Thanks everyone, I have been to my family doc, knee doc, and have an appt with a rheumatologist in April. I am willing to try anything as long as it is not a pharmaceutical med, the side effects are just not worth it to me. It all started with an effusion in my knee, I took the NSAID the doc...

When I do yoga and wt lift I feel ok, the minute I start any type of cardio my knees kill me. I am taking turmeric, boswelia, devil's claw and glucosamine, they help a little...
