    Wen hair care

I started out with Pond's, then switched to the CVS (drugstore) version. Cheaper and works just as good...:)

    Wen hair care

Excellent point TexasLaura!! This made me LOL...:D Earlier in the year I stopped using all of those expensive do-nothing-for-you face creams, lotions and scrubs and switched to plain old cold cream. Because ladies, we know deep down that there is no cream in the world that is going to get rid...

    Wen hair care

I find this odd as well. One of the benefits that I've noticed from day one is how little hair I'm losing when combing through after using Wen as compared to regular shampoo & conditioner.

For all women who are 40+, what is your skin care regime?

Pond's cold cream...:D I've tried alot of expensive products that contain glycolic acid and other exfoliants. Cleansers, lotions, eye creams, just about everything I could get my hands on. Then I switched to plain old cold cream at the beginning of 2011. I turned 40 in May and my skin has...

    Wen hair care

Fidget Queen - have you tried the different "scents"? I know that can be costly, but I'm curious. My first order of Wen was the combo of Pomegranite and Sweet Almond Mint. The Sweet Almond Mint leaves my hair very limp and flat but the Pomegranite leaves if full of body and bounce. I also...

    Wen hair care

IMHO, it isn't necessary to use the recommended # of pumps. My hair is past my shoulders and I use 6-8 pumps. And it has never looked better and feels/looks cleaner than it did when I used shampoo & conditioner. A 16oz bottle has lasted about a month. That's with me using 6-8 pumps daily and...

    Wen hair care

I have been using Wen (from QVC) for about two months now. I highly doubt that I will ever go back to traditional shampoo & conditioner. My hair is so soft and bouncy. I don't even use hairspray anymore. It really has improved my hair.

    Skin care in your 40's

Hi lulu68! I will be 40 in a few weeks and just recently switched from a glycolic acid cleanser to plain, old, drugstore-brand cold cream. And my skin has never looked better! Stebby - I'm going to check out that Phytomer Vegetal Peeling product, though. Thanks for the suggestion!

What to eat post cardio workout?

I don't eat anything after cardio. The main reason I do cardio is to burn calories so that would certainly defeat the purpose.

Hi everyone! Sorry to be MIA last week. I was traveling for work and had alot of family stuff going on this weekend. All good stuff!!! I received the "ok" from my doctor to slowly start working out. Nothing too intense, walking and biking has been approved. Although my idea of biking is...

    filler injections: has anyone tried...

Christie - I have had success with Juvederm turning up the corners of my upper lip. The first time I had it done, my plastic surgeon did the injections from just below the indents (or "cabbage-patch mouth" as I like to call it...;)) and that worked well. The lift was subtle. Probably not...

Weight Watchers - 4th week of March, 2011

Good morning ladies! Suzanne, I'm in the same boat with you. Stayed the same this week. That's okay, though. Since I haven't been able to exercise, maintaining is good for me. I am going to get a nice long walk in today. Have a great day everyone!

Weight Watchers - 3rd week of March 2011

Hi ladies. Sorry to be MIA lately. I've been dealing with some health issues and found out yesterday that I can't exercise for the next 3 weeks. Absolutely no exercise. And believe me, I listed every possible exercise option to my doctor only to be shot down on every.single.one. I know it's for...
