    TTC/ Miscarriage Support--- SuperBowl Week

Melanie, my mom was 36 and my grandma was 40 I believe. Mom was also disgnosed with osteopenia in her late 20s, which may or may not be related to anything. I sometimes worry about my bone density from all the years of not getting my period with the eating disorders and such. That's great...

Week of Jan 25th TTC/ Miscarriage Support

Jen, it must be so tough not knowing what's going on right now. For me, it helps to have a plan, like how you said you'll call the doc if you don't get a period in 2 weeks. At least that way I don't feel so hopeless and helpless. More than anything, it's the uncertainty of what's going on...

Susan, so sorry to hear about your Nana. Hugs to you and Jen too. Jen, if you ovulate and AF doesn't come it almost certainly means you're pregnant - and I'm paraphrasing TCOYF! I'd test again, definitely. My guess about the CC tracks for the 5K training would be to concentrate on the...

help vomiting, nausea and bloating again!

Sorry you're feeling like that again. Are you gaining enought weight? I'm sure your doc will/would let you know if they are worried about the baby. I started vomiting again each morning from about 30 weeks on I think and I took Zofran on the really bad days. I also knew that certain foods like...

Interesting about the Robitussin! It does sound familiar, maybe it was mentioned in TCOYF or something. This will probably be TMI, but I have stretchy, slippery CF almost every day:eek: (pretty much since I stopped nursing - and before that I was D-R-Y) So many times it gives me false hope like...

Yay for Disney!!! That sounds like a great time. Melanie, I'm with Jen on that you may just be ovulating later than when you're expecting. The kit sounds revealing, hopefully you'll learn more about what's happening with your body while using it. Jen, awwww man, you had us so excited;);)...

We're all sick here.:( Taylor does have pink eye, and it's nearly impossible to put drops in a 10 month old's eyes! Any suggestions? DH woke up this AM with pink eye too, so he started using Taylor's drops. Her fever went down yesterday and thankfully she slept a lot because I could barely...

Hi everyone, I'm home with Taylor today, I just called the doc and will take her in at 10:45. She's had a fever since Friday night and this crazy amount of eye goop...doesn't really look like pink eye but who knows. I feel so guilty about calling off work, but as DH says, "family first!" My...

    Belly cream?

I got a terrible rash from the Palmer's lotion too!!! I slept with ice packs on my belly for a couple of nights, it was awful. I didn't use lotions after that either and don't have any stretch marks.:)

Jen, I'm (cautiously) excited for you! Whatever happens this cycle was meant to be...and you'll find out soon!! Hope you have a great time tonight, it sounds like a lot of fun. I'm treating a person who works with the Sarasota Ballet and is insisting on giving me tickets (I don't feel right...

Susan, I live in Bradenton (Lakewood Ranch)!!! About your piriformis...often times pain in the piriformis area is actually coming from the sciatic nerve or the L4/5 nerve roots. If you notice a pattern to your pain it could help pinpoint where it's coming from, like which positions or...

Ageleg, so so sorry about your loss. As Jen said, we hope you'd be comfortable with joining us, if you'd like. Big hugs to you, and thank YOU for sharing. Perhaps you have helped out another fellow lurker by posting.:) Yes, Florida is freezing these past 2 days! I had to scrape frost off...

    Preggo and having food aversions?

Sorry about how you're feeling! My OB just told me to eat whatever I could...which for me was Kashi pizza...every...day. As long as you can hold down your vitamins the baby should get what it needs.:)

Week of Jan 19 TTC/Miscarriage support

Jen, don't most tests now show results up to 5 days sooner than the first day of your expected period? I'd probably wait until the day your period is supposed to start. Your temps do look, high, but I'd have to check TCOYF again...I remember something about the temps being elevated for 18 days...

I'm here too - not much to report...just waiting for my appt. Feb 2nd! Jen, what did your husband do to his back? Is he being treated for it? What was 'In the Ring' like? Melanie, good luck with the Clomid - hope you feel okay while taking it this round! Oh, I had to break from Cathe's...

Jen, thanks for the info - I will look into those! When I was pregnant I heard of red raspberry leaves for helping your body go into labor. I never tried it, though I thought about it as I went a week over my due date. Your DH sounds very understanding. Another month really isn't that much...

It was 61 here today and I wore my coat and gloves to work. I think I'm turning into a popsicle just thinking about -40 deg weather! How did Jadon do with his first hair cut? More importantly - how did YOU do?;) Melanie, how is the ovulation kit that you got recently different than, say, the pee...

Hey all - not much to report here. No interesting CF (yay, Jen!), no sex, no period. We've never used condoms, either. Jen, I hear you about "accidentally" getting pregnant this month with the pull-out method. So many people have said if they would have only known how difficult it could be...
