    New step platform

FYI: The link for the step on Amazon is not the same as the step shown in the other link. The amazon one is 28.5 x 14.5 x 4 whereas the one from The Step link is 43 x 16 x 4 which I believe is the one used in Cathe workouts.

Can you use a rebounder if you have had a hip replacement?

I agree that you need to discuss this with your doctor as many have different opinions on what you should & should not do. I had a total hip replacement 3 months ago using the anterior approach and my surgeon gave me the green light to "hit it hard" with no limitations at the 3 month mark. He...

    Apple TV question

I was having the same issue and didn't want to spend the money for a new apple tv or router so I purchased an HDMI to lightning adapter and hook up my iPhone (or iPad) directly to the TV. While it would be nice to go wireless, this works seamlessly with the Cathe app and I no longer have to...

Please advise the the best way to stop the monthly payments and activate the discounted yearly option without overlapping payment or losing...

It's time for beginners and intermediate workouts.

Jane- Thank you for bringing this up. I have been trying to manage a severely arthritic hip for 5+ years and have finally reached the point of needing a total hip replacement (bone on bone). I'm scheduled to have it on November 9th. There isn't a Cathe workout I can't do even with this bad...

    Firewalker Tip?

Does anyone have a tip for preventing the firewalker band from rolling up into a tight cord/rope? I just did the latest fit tower cardio legs live workout and my band (the fit tower one) kept doing that which made some of the moves painful on the ankles. It wound up so tight that I had to...

Working out after total hip replacement

Interesting!! Thanks for sharing. I am going to try to manage my situation for as long as possible but when I can no longer handle the pain or I start compensating & causing more issues, I will schedule the surgery. It really comes down to quality of life!

Working out after total hip replacement

Yes, my doctor advised no running because of the repetitive high impact motion unlike high impact with HIIT or plyometrics which is usually only sustained for 30-60 seconds then often switched up to a different movement. I was a runner so it was difficult to give it up but my desire to stave...

Working out after total hip replacement

Thanks Jenn! Glad to hear you have recovered well and are working out again. I have read that total knee replacement is more painful to recover from than hips. Did your doctor advise against high impact? I am still able to do most of Cathe's high impact workouts but sometimes the pain hits...

    Upgrade Your Cathe Live iOSApp!!!

Thank you!! The app works now with my iPad 4 and I'm really enjoying it. So nice to have all the workout info (length, equipment and short description) at your fingertips! I have the older version of Apple TV and streaming to it via my iPad or iPhone has been frustrating. Some days it...

Working out after total hip replacement

Any Catheletes out there still working out at an advanced level after a total hip replacement? I was diagnosed 5 years ago with OA in my right hip and was told a replacement would be in my future. I have been managing it over the years by giving up running, doing PT, wearing orthotics and...

A New Way To Watch Cathe Live!

OK, I played Rhythm Ride on my iPhone 5s. I first got the error code so I killed the app and went back in. It played all the way to the end except for a few disconnections which automatically reconnected at the point it left off. Not sure if that was caused by my wifi connection or the app...

A New Way To Watch Cathe Live!

I'm clicking on the app icon on my iPad home screen. It opens the black screen that says Cathe Live for a second or two then goes right back to the iPad home screen. I get dropped out of the app right away so I can't view any of the recorded workouts. I have the newest version of the IOS...
