    What about 4DS cardio on work days, and the upper and lower body split (just strength) on your days off? They aren't super intense and can be easily modified up or down on intensity.

    Weight gain

    Yes, a different protein powder could do it. I can have vegetarian based protein powders ok, I can even eat dairy, but if I have a dairy based protein powder I tend to gain. I have no idea why.
