We print a lot of pictures. With all digital cameras, we no longer take film in to develop and use our printer.

I print our weekly schedule and post it on the fridge. That way everyone in the family knows what is going on without pestering me constantly. My daughter has to print out lots of things for school.

I love my touch, and recently bought a netbook, which is much cheaper than the Ipad. It also has microsoft office on it, and so much more functional for me. So I don't really see the use of the Ipad. It will be interesting to see what it evolves to.

Our school district only has half day,although I know some people send their children to a private place that does full day, and then changes at first grade. My kids are 22 and 17, and were not affected by only having 1/2 day. Really a very small portion of their schooling is kindergarten...

Kids in sports are glorified, especially in smaller schools, kids who do well in school, but are not in sports often do not get any glory. Perhaps that is what the mother referred to.

I have the touch, and could not download. But I put the new upgrade to itunes in before I sync. My question. I got these to work by converting to the itunes format. Do I still have to redownload?

I don't know. I checked to see if they would play, but did not check chapter points. They must be in a different format than previously. Perhaps because people were having a lot of difficulty downloading. The slow process does not rely on the internet(ipod file transformation) so no timing...

I have two to go. It takes me about an hour for each one, don't know why it takes so long, but it does work!

I have three converted now, and am working on a fourth. It works, but sure is slow. Itunes had a warning that it was, so I figured it was. The size of the converted file is smaller, so they are compressing something.

Pam, if you had ADHD, you still have ADHD. You may have developed coping skills, but they have done brain scans on individuals with ADHD and the brain is actually physically different. You and your son are unique and have gifts. Enjoy them!

ADHD is not the end of the world. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD and learning abilities in 6th grade and refused any meds. Junior high was rough, Freshman year in high school was rough, but we have worked very, very hard, and now as a junior, for the first time ever, she is on honor roll...
