    Loosing baby weight?

One of my girlfriends gained 80 pounds while pregnant and it has taken her 10 months to lose. I'm not sure if she's back to pre-preg weight, but she is looking great! I am 19 weeks pregnant and have gained 15lbs already and am worried about ever having a waistline again! It is hard to see...

    Experienced Moms: what to buy???

Thank you ladies so much for the advice. I'm actually taking notes on this stuff. I really want to be as frugal as possible yet still have the things that will make my life and baby's life easier. There are so many things I've wandered about and the tips are awesome. We had our official...

    Experienced Moms: what to buy???

I'm interested in the ergo carrier, but the link took me to some company website. I'll have to search for this. Craigslist is a great idea!

    Experienced Moms: what to buy???

I totally agree with you which is why I'm asking other moms! And even though it's my first I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff that I will never use. And don't get me started on the diaper wipe warmer! Unless I lived in Alaska in an igloo I don't see this being a necessity! And I do...

    Experienced Moms: what to buy???

Hi Ladies! I don't post very often, so I will give a little update. I'm now 18 weeks with my first. The unofficial ultrasound I had yesterday said it will be a girl!!! The official ultrasound is tomorrow morning. My problem is this: with so many different baby products on the market, I...

    Ab workouts

I'm 17 weeks and my OB said I could do anything I wanted up until 20 weeks and then no more lying on my back, though she said that side lying oblique crunches were fine. Planks were fine too. There are many exercises that can be done for abs even when you can't lie on your back! HTH!

    UGGG!...this heat wave

I'm so desperate for spring and warm temps that I am insanely jealous of you and your 80 degree weather. I hate winter and this one has been long! I've been seriously thinking about moving further south. What's with the snakes and scorpions though? Do you really have to deal with those up...

    Tired of not feeling well...

You all really helped me feel better. Thank you so much for your kind words and understanding. It really helps to know that you're not alone when you feel like this. On my off days it's hard to get out of my PJ's sometimes. What I forgot to mention is I teach aerobics too, so I feel a little...

    Tired of not feeling well...

I don't post on here a whole lot because I usually don't have time to check in everyday. But, every now and then a girl just doesn't know where else to vent. I'll be 12 weeks with my first on Tuesday. I don't think I've felt good since December! I am so tired all the time. I don't have...

    1st visit to OB....not impressed

Thanks for being irked with me! It lets me know that I am not being hormonal and overly sensitive! The funny thing was, it didn't rub me totally wrong when I was with, but it was after that I thought about things and I was irritated. Ultimately, I'm glad I had this experience because I am a...

    1st visit to OB....not impressed

Thank you sooo much for this link. Your original question was very well stated and pretty much sums up how I was feeling. The responses were very helpful as well. When it comes down to it, I can't help but think that my body knows what is best and if I feel up for it, I should do it and...

    1st visit to OB....not impressed

I have thought of trying to find a midwife too. But, they are difficult to locate. My hat is off to your for sticking with breast feeding through all of that! That is a testament to what a committed mother you must be! Thank you for your response and support and encouragement!

    1st visit to OB....not impressed

Hey ladies, I just have to vent some frustration! I went for my first visit to the ob yesterday. I only saw the nurse, but she rubbed me the wrong way. Not very enthusiastic or encouraging. I told her I wanted to breast feed and her response was "It's harder than you think and a lot of...

    Baby Update...

Clarissa, Since becoming pregnant, I have actually felt panicked about becoming fat again. I too was heavy when I was younger and that is something that once you overcome will never leave you as much as I wish it would at times. The fear that I could be fat again is vicious. I too feel...

    Getting Heart rate too high

Phewww! I feel better knowing you all are still doing the same thing. I started this pregnancy the most fit I have ever been. Working out harder and eating cleaner. I had actually just finished working with a personal trainer who is an IFBB pro fitness competitor and fitness model...
