    Pyramid Upper Body 2

After reading this, I did the Combo Bonus Total Body pyramid, and, you are right. I forgot what a gem this is. It would fit nicely as the strength sections of a circuit that begins with a tabata. A tabata, followed by a section of pyramid building and legs, then another tabata, etc..... Thanks...

    Tabata Total Body Circuit

I would love to see a Total Body Circuit consisting of at least 6 circuits which start with a four-minute tabata followed by four or five minutes of compound and focused strength exercises for each body part. Either work all parts in each circuit or have a leg circuit, a chest circuit etc...

    Favorite Circuit Training DVDs?

Afterburn is my favorite go-to circuit workout, followed by the Ripped With Hiit Lower body and then Ripped with Hiit Upper Body. I did Body Max 2 the other day for the first time in years and really enjoyed it, so, now that is also one of my favorites.

More just stretching with the new science behind it

I'd love to see a dynamic stretching workout, one that promotes movement and fluid stretches, along with plyo moves.

New Series I would love to see from Cathe

Or, better yet, include 30 minutes of Peripheral Heart Action training after the 30 minutes of cardio each day. The cardio could be a mix of steady state on some days, and HIIT on the other days.

New Series I would love to see from Cathe

Hi, It seemed as if I was in a rut, workout wise, and although I have all of Cathe workouts from her start which affords a tremendous amount of variety, I wanted to try a new approach. On the suggestion of a post in this forum I bought Insanity Max 30 hoping for some really challenging 30...

Question for those with a FitBit or similar device

Hi, There are many claims about HIIT workouts. The one that I am interested in seeing if there is anyone who has measured with a Fitbit is the one that states that your heartbeat remains at a higher rate for hours after completing one. I always cringe when I hear a celebrity talk about...

    Peripheral Heart Action Training

I was just about to post this same request, only not nearly as well as you have. Thank you. Count me in! I'm really curious about this method and would love to work it into my schedule.

Favorite salve for sore muscles and/or pulls

Hello all, Any suggestions for a topical salve that really works well, and maybe doesn't smell like an old folks home? It seems I always have something that has been pulled, or is sore from use. I have used some patches that seem to work pretty well, but don't adhere well. What are your...

    Lara Bar Recipe

OOH! This sounds great. I've been trying to figure out a way to make a more healthful version of what my Mother used to make around the holidays, called "Chinese Chews". They were amazing, but, of course had sugar and white flour in the recipe. I think the protein powder would result in...

    Hiit Workouts

Hi, I really like both Toby Massenburg's Max 30 and Ignite workouts. Max 30 has two 30 minute workouts, one includes strength intervals with HIIT, and one is strictly cardio. They are fun and challenging. His ignite is 30 minutes of Hiit cardio, quite good. Also, Mindy Mylrea's Intensity...

Favorite styles from old Cathe Videos

I love pulling out some of the older Cathe workouts occasionally and always find the styles of clothing and the background very telling of the era. Which are your favorite looks and Gym style? By the way, who makes the grape top Cathe wears in some of the Ripped with Hiit Series? Where are...

Did I lose my Cardio Fitness?

Very astute assessment! This really rings a bell for me as I have noticed a decline in my endurance since focusing my cardio on HIIT, and eliminated the steady state I used to do so much of. I have difficulty tackling many of the mountain hiking excursions I used to be able to do in record time...

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (Ear Crystals displaced)

No doubt about the aging thing. There are some things that happen that no diet or exercise is going to stop. I'm 66 and am just beginning to accept that I just can't do everything I used to. Now I understand why my aged relatives would always say they were just happy to still have their health.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (Ear Crystals displaced)

From all the replies, it sounds like there are many triggers. It is such a strange feeling. I was convinced I had a brain tumor at one time, the vertigo was really something. I fell a few times just from being slightly off center.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (Ear Crystals displaced)

Interesting, because I have a history of cold sores. I used to get them all the time, but haven't had one in years, but how interesting that it can manifest itself in the inner ear. OUR physiology is fascinating.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (Ear Crystals displaced)

Yes, they did and I have been doing it at home, but have you read what Melagras has posted about the dangers of doing that? Thanks

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (Ear Crystals displaced)

I have been doing the Epley maneuver at home, had no idea it was dangerous. I will stop and reschedule with the therapist. Thanks for the warning.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (Ear Crystals displaced)

I went to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist because I have been having dizziness, imbalance and other symptoms I suspected to be connected to some kind of inner ear problem. It turns out the calcium crystals in my ear canal (who knew about those?) had somehow become displaced. There is an easy...
