    I live on the eastern end of Long Island, and there are five of us (DH and DD13 DD11 DS9 and me). I spend AT LEAST $1000 a month on groceries, including stuff like detergent, dry goods, dog food etc. There are some things that I am willing to scrimp on, but fresh fruit and vegetables are not...

    Wow, my heart just goes out to you. It sounds like you really love those kids and are doing an excellent job in your current position. The way I see it, you have two choices. You can let your boss know how you feel that you are going to seek employment elsewhere, and maybe that will change...

    I am not from there, but I WAS there over New Years. Friends of mine live near Fredonia NY and they have a ski house in that town. We went skiing at Holiday Valley, and from what I saw of the town, it was lovely! Cute shops and friendly people. You should have a good time. Laura

    Does anyone have any good suggestions for new Wii games? They are quite expensive and I would hate to buy one and have it be boring or dumb. Also, any suggestions on ones to avoid would be appretiated too! Thanks Laura
