    Stability ball moves/HELP??

There is a video on ginmiller.com called New Moves on the Ball. I think it is specially made for instructors - you may want to check it out. I've been eyeing it myself lately, so if you do get it could you post back here what you thought? Rhonda

    REP REEBOK

I had no idea anything like this existed, thanks for sharing! And speaking of sharing, since you are known around the site for being so encouraging to those of us trying to break into the fitness business (I am beginning to work as a trainer and group fitness instructor at the local YMCA) ...

Question about sore achy heels and feet...............

It sounds like you may have plantar fasciatis - when you sprain the muscle at the bottom of your foot. Good shoes are a must, and you may need to get a insert. Sometimes this sprain takes a long time to heal; if it continues to bother you for a long time you may even want to see a foot doctor...

Anyone else use the Tread Moves Videos?

I have not tried Treadmoves, but I have a video called Runervals. It is an interval training workout for the treadmill, and I really like it - it makes you feel like you are part of a group doing a track workout. There are several participants at a variety of fitness levels. It is nice for...

    Whats wrong with me ?

You are being so hard on yourself - we all have days like that! I don't have THE answer, because there are some days where you really REALLY just want the muffin. But, on days where there might be some wiggle room, maybe you could try feeding your body a good, healthy snack, then try to stay...

    Calling all tall ladies.....

I am 5'8" and found the black yoga pants at Old Navy to be exactly what I needed. I tried on the gray, and they were too short! Wierd! You may want to try a dancewear store - I once tried on a pair of jazz pants at a store and they were dragging the floor because they were unhemmed. They...

    Completed First Marathon!!

Congrats and way to go! I recently bought that same book that you recommended to Jillybean and I really like it to. I like that it focuses so much on the mental training aspect of running a marathon, which is the biggest hurdle for me, I think. I'd love to run a marathon someday as well. I...

    bathing suit season.....so depressing

Kim, I can totally relate to your obsession. It is mine, too, every year! I have already started ordering various 2 piece tankinis from the catalogs, to find the perfect suit. I have also been working out hard, but if I could just stay away from the dessert I might have a slightly more...

Do your calves hurt during PLB stability ball section??

The stability ball section was so challenging - at one point (I can't remember which part...it's all a blur now) my SHINS were hurting! I really had to use every muscle to do those things, I guess! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who was hurting in places other than the targetted muscle...

    Running rotation

I also posted this on the Discussion forum and got a few replies, if you guys would like to take a peek there. I was considering this rotation: Sun: PUB + easy run Mon: PLB Tue: interval run Wed: easy run Thu: long run Fri: OFF Sat: IMAX I want to fit in so much, like several runs...

    Running rotation

Thanks run4fun (great name!) - I appreciate the input. I am trying to figure out where to put in rest days. I would guess it is most important to take it easy just before and after the long run. Do you do 4 days a week of running, with 2 days of weights? That's what I am considering...

    Running rotation

Aimee, Thanks for the reply. Wow, I am impressed with all the 2-a-day workouts you do! Is that part of your competition training? Good luck to you with that, and I will be watching your progress and cheering for you! Rhonda
