STS Meso 1 Back & Triceps Side Lying Pushup

I am a graduate of the original STS.

After many rounds, I just noticed Cathe's & the Crew's working arm elbows seem to point to the front instead to the side on Side Lying Pushup.

I find the exercise better suited for me to work the tricep with working arm elbow pointed to the side.

I'd appreciate any tips or feedback. Thanks.

I am trying to fully understand the issue as i am not sure.

Is this below the exercice you are referring to?

Yes. This is the exercise. :)
I go by how I feel throughout the execution of the move. The focus being working the triceps, you should feel it straight at each movement. Normally the elbow is aligned parallel to the tronc keeping the arm closer to the body. When the arm is not correctly positioned you will feel it on your shoulder and not at the back of your arm. The arm is pretty close to the tronc.

Here is another video. HTH

Thank you so much. You’re always so helpful and full of useful tips.
I really appreciate your time and effort in selflessly sharing your knowledge.

In this video, I noticed that the elbow was positioned more to the side to better engage the triceps. This is actually the position I've been using, as it feels comfortable for me and has been effective.
