Happy May everyone. I'm seriously hoping for the warmer weather to finally get here. I was feeling out of sorts this morning. My dad's birthday is tomorrow. He would have been 78. Perhaps I can get a nice tree and plant it in his honor. Anyway, This morning I thought I would do Tracey Long's Better burn Better buns. I just got this via Mary's sale. It's the 3rd Tracey Long I've tried......I don't really like them much. She seems nice enough, I just don't click with her workouts. Oh well. Have a great day ladies.

This morning I started with Kathy Smith's BeFit Standing Abs and into Linda Wooldridge Pilates Barre abs/core for 42 minutes of Abs .....that'll be plenty abs for me for the rest of the week! lol. My least fave w-o's always.
I do like some of Tracey Long ( Defining Shape being one I really like!). I've looked at that Better Buns one. Wouldn't recommend it eh Peg?

It's so nice Annette that you have a walking partner sometimes. I am jealous! ;)
 
Hello Elsie. I need to try Better burn better buns again before I decide what I think about it. It seems kind of awkward sometimes w/ very little cardio. I was never a huge fan of The Firm wkouts and I get a strong "Firm" vibe from Tracey. As for the tree, maybe an oak. Tall and strong. He had them lining his driveway.

Today I taught my disco circuit class to 11 ladies for 53 minutes.

Then I did 68 minutes of weight work including abs. I was able to bench 130 today , but I managed to to 8 reps of 45 pounds each arm alternating for hammer curls and that is a 5 pound increase over my previous heavy number so I was happy. Also did barbell bicep curls. Also in the mix were dumbbell chest flies, standing lat pulldowns both wide overhand grip and under hand close grip for 2 sets of 15 at 70 and 55 pounds respectively, shoulder front raise, rear delt on the machine and finished up with abs and one legs exercise on the floor.

I was also advising one of my class attendees on how to mix up her weight routine and spotted her on chest press with just the barbell since she is new to lifting. But I have converted another lady to the joys of weight lifting [emoji16][emoji41].

And yes it is nice to have someone to walk with and talk to.

Good evening girls, I had planned on taking a rest day today, but I ended up doing a low impact step blender
Workout. It felt good, but I must admit, I didn't get the moves as well as I do sometimes, I think I was just
Tired..think I am gonna go watch Shark Tank....have a good night :)
 
I ean about 3 miles on the treadmill at work. My hamstring clenched up immediately. It felt tight, not injured, so I worked through it. I think it would loosen up if massaged.
