Fabulous 40s in February

Good Morning,

I did KCM's Body Shop 2 this morning to make up yesterdays workout and then if things go right I will do Cardio Blast Plyo if I don't here anything out of the bosses today no word since Tuesday when he had surgery they couldn't do it Monday his lab values were off. I also did Fitness Blender Standing Crunchless Abs yesterday because I was bored.

Ronne-I can't anymore use to be able to but I am just to tired by the the time I get home and it will be easier next week DH is off of vacation.

Mary-we are suppose to have freezing rain starting tomarrow changing to snow all weekend and next week looks cold to with another chance of snow winter so needs to be over.
 
I'm enjoying my cheap pilates reformer/jumpboard (I compared the aeropilates price vs the balanced body ones (the ones they are using in the pilatesanytime.com videos. I signed on for a free trial for 15 days, not sure I want to pay the $18/mth, there's another site I want to check out after my free trial on this one. Hey, I just noticed I have a big rectangular foam block (i used it cuz it folded it out to a wedge after surgery), anyway, lots of the videos use a reformer box, I don't have that, I may see if this will work! Anyways, I'm in full pilates mode while I have the free trial. So yest afternoon, I did 30 min of jumpboard (she had an exercised that got the glutes good too), then 30 min of stretching. This morning I did 20 min of jumpboard and a 50 min reformer w/o, so I couldn't do cuz I didn't have a box, I may now with this foam pillow (I'm cheap). anyway, lots of leg work and stretch (one stretch with legs was NO WAY I would be able to do it, my body feels so stiff sometimes!). So I plan to walk the dogs shortly, at least 3 miles, then do another stretch pilates video.

Roxie, I so want winter over!

Ronne, I bet you would love this pilates reformer and jumpboard. I liked the jumping option since I can't jump anymore vertically, so thought it'd be good lying down. When I'm by myself to eat, I usually have cereal or yogurt or something.

Mary, I cleaned the toilets yesterday, it's a start :) I need to do a mini walmart run for some things, including cleaning supplies....there's always tomorrow :) Having too much fun playing with my new machine :) I wish I could have my big w/o room back (the basement), but I managed to carve out an area in the bedroom.
 
Well I got Cardio Blast done only interrupted a couple of times. It looks the bad weather starts tomarrow so I may or may not make to work DH said I could use his 4 wheel drive truck. Boss man may be released today so there might be and end in site.

Lisa-sounds like alot of fun as to sweating not something I do alot of just in the bra area and I brought a lighter shirt and last week I had on a cami.
 
Hello! Did FT, again, just couldn't be creative! Roxie, I would love to be a bug in the room, watching you work out at work! Lisa, that machine sounds complicated! Hi all, wow it has been days since I've even read, but I'm looking forward to getting back into it soon. Lisa, that is annoying about the job. Ronne, the trip sounds nice, hope you recover soon. You jumped back in w/ tabatasize? u go girl. Roxie, the bosses and your job are all chaos. I've got spring break but there won't be any girls gone wild, just work and school projects almost done with all this thank God. Hey Murphy,hope all is well.

Jody - good to see you. You're obviously vvvv busy. Hope you get a bit of a break soon.

Mary - Well, I can't recommend any meat dishes as I don't eat it, I always have fish or tofu or vegetables. You can't go wrong with anything really, start off mild (which is v mild) and see what you like. You can get really spicy. Yesterday, I had wok-fried noodles with greens, fish cake and prawns, medium spicy. It was delicious. Called Dolly Pad Mee. (the names are pretty funny!)

Roxie - so did you make it in? How was the weather?

Lisa - I'm trying to picture jumping horizontally and I'm struggling :D.

Did the the other half of Drop Set Strength: Legs, Shoulders and Back. Legs felt quite hard. The March rotation is up and it's a low impact one so I think I'm going to start that on Monday or over the weekend.
Going out to dinner tomorrow night to an old friend of DH's that we haven't seen for a long while. Apart from that, not much planned, a bit of TV, something to drink and some cleaning!
 
OK, my waist and my abs are sore! Especially my waist! Glutes too! I did 20 min more of jumpboard on pilates. I tried some reformer work but after 30 min of the class I quit (they were doing things that involved the neck too much). I did a bit of leg stretches too on it.

Jody, one more week and my DS22 has spring break, we get to drive to KS to check out a house he is looking at renting there, fun, not! Although Dorothy's house is in Liberal, KS so I'll have to see that :)

Mary, everytime I find a good exercise on the machine, I swear I'll remember, sadly I don't. I just don't have the patience to sit thru a whole class of it (it's like yoga, I lose focus after a while---thankfully doesn't have that dorky breathing). I hope to find a couple of workouts that I like that I can download.

Roxie, are you ever huffing and puffing when a customer comes in? I hope you get some direction on the future of your job soon. Limbo is not a fun state.

I read of many layoffs yesterday of the employees, I'm starting to feel more like a sacrificial lamb (let's hire someone that was just fired so we don't feel bad about firing them again). I feel a bit used, but then I used them back, it's just that I felt so guilty about it.

Well the bosses came in for a little bit this morning then their daughter and GD's showed up for lunch so they have now left for the day and I must say he looks better then I have seen him in years so maybe they are finally getting him healthy. No workout to report.

Ronne-made it to work weather is just now starting to change the temp has dropped and its cloudy.

Lisa-I hope things straighten out for both of us soon.

Mary-definetly huff and puff when answering the phone or waiting on a customer and my HR monitor starts to beep.

I did KCM Muscle Def (both) today. Then stretched my hammies on the reformer (it really helps me get things stretched better than I can do on my own, hope it helps ease up my lower back). My core is definitely feeling worked from the reformer too.

Mary, the jumping part doesn't bother my neck, it's very gentle horizontal bounce. Some of the exercises on the reformer they do put my neck in jeopardy so I just don't do them and try to pick a class that has more leg work (Imagine me wanting to do legs!!!!) I can do most things in a prone position (except down dog for too long), but in supine, is when it puts my neck in jeopardy and I do not care to have my SCM muscles hurting again, so I just don't do some things.

Roxie, snowing here and tomorrow too. then next week looks like spring will make an appearance! WOOT!
