Getting it done for MAY!

Morning girls,

This week I will do the same workouts I did last week w/ BH. Since I have 3 rest days, I will try to add more cardio. I also need to get my eating under control, it's all over the place.

I will be back w/ personals.

Morning Belinda and Sherry! :)

I hope you both had a good weekend.

Today was STS #8 back/tri. This got me good in the tri's for sure. ;)

Belinda: Have a great workout today! Which BH DVD do you plan on using? Are you doing his rotation that was posted on FB?

Sherry: How are you doing? What's your plan for today? :)

Off to work!

Hey Belinda, Heidi, and Sherry!

Thanks for letting me crash back into the group with all of you!

This weekend I was at my parents house which is typically a no brainer that my eating will be bad; however my DH reminded me to keep myself in check and I did pretty well so *giving myself a pat on the back*. :)

Today I did SH Legs and Shoulders - but kind of a timesaver version. Did two sets of every exercise and then skipped to the next due to lack of time. Tonight I will do the new yogaflow video that bodyrock posted just to add in a little more for the day.

Sherry - Is STS still making you sore?

Heidi - Are you doing STS also or is that just in the rotation you are following?

Belinda - I hope your DH is doing well. :) I know what you mean about your eating. Been there, done that! At least your aware of it! :)

Karen

Hi Karen! Awesome job on your SH workout! :) Even better...your eating at home. ;) That is great your DH is supporting you too! Love it!

I am finishing up STS/LIS jan rotation so this is my last week. Next week I start my Jillian M rotation. I will start off at level one on all the DVD's used and each week ramp it up to the next level depending on how well I did. ;) This ought to kick my butt good!

I really enjoyed the Jan rotation and have lost 6#'s so far!!!! :) Great mix of weight days and cardio/wts inbetween. Those slide and glide plank moves are tough for sure!

So which rotation if any are you folllowing or are you just playing by how much time you have available?

So great to have you checking in with us when you can too! :)

Sherry: How's it going today? :)

Belinda: How was your workout this morning? How is DH doing today? Do you have your weeks menu planned out? ;)

Well it is getting late here...have a great workout and evening.

Good everning,

I did my workout earlier this everning. Almost talked myself out, glad I didn't:D I feel like my arms are falling off:confused: Bob's workouts are high reps! I was sweating buckets, which is good;) Good stuff!

Heidi - have fun this week finishing up your rotation. I think, I will do a JM rotation next. That's fantastic that you lost 6 pound, wtg! The rotation Bob had posted last year on his website, he no longer has it here. If you google it you still can find it. If you need it/wanted I can try to post it here? I like it, those workouts are no joke!

Karen - thanks! DH and I took a walk today, hes doing great. Good job, on keeping your eats under control. You are doing better than I am:confused:

Where is Sherry?

I will be back later, I hope:eek: if not, see you all in the morning.

Here I am!

Been busy, as usual. However, Saturday's run really bothered my left knee. Leg got real tight as the day went on, so I took a complete rest day yesterday. Today I did 4DS Kickbox only premix before the run to get the legs warmed up good before my run, which I kept at 2 miles, and also took the dog for a warm up and cool down mile, and stretched and rolled. Legs feels really good right now, so hope it stays that way.

Belinda - Nice to know Bob can get you sweatin' buckets - means it's a good wo to consider. Hope DH isn't pushing it too much. He'll get there. Have you scheduled anything for you yet?

Heidi - High five's on the 6#'s! Looks like that rotation really helps. How much JM have you done? I think the library has some of her DVD's, too, so if I ever get some time . . . yeah, right!

Karen - Well, STS could be making me sore if I could squeeze it in. I've been prioritizing my running when I'm not at the kids running. Not sure why I thought I could start an STS rotation, or any rotation for that manner, while both kids were running track. Done with the semester yet? DH just started the 1st summer mini today.

Tomorrow is a one day trip in and out, as long as weather cooperates with the plane, so not sure if I'll get in a wo.

Have a good one!

Heidi - My DH is on a kick of eating vegetarian Mon-Thursday, and then allowing meat on Fri-Sunday. We've been doing this for about 2 months now so we have been eating more meals at home. I haven't really lost any weight, but I'm not trying that hard either.... The really awesome thing is that my DH is cooking most nights. :)

6# loss - thats awesome! Great job! Don't you just love the low impact series? Those new moves are killer, but make you feel so strong....like "yeah, I just did that!" hehe

I was trying to follow Cathes 2011 Sept rotation, but I'm not following it to a T. Today I had every intention of doing Imax2, but I couldn't sleep last night because I had to stay up and watch the DVR'd amazing race finale. I do have my PIYO class tonight, so one workout for today is enough. (was just trying to get in a double workout...but that didn't work out)

Sherry - So are you going to quit the STS for now until your schedule is more flexible? I really don't know how you do it - from what you were telling me on the road trip you're always go, go, go.... obviously you are able to handle it though! I'm crossing my fingers for the weather to cooperate with you today in your travels. :)

I took one of my finals last night. I've got another one on Thursday and then one more discussion posting to do then I'm done! (for spring anyway) Summer classes start June 5th... just one more year, just one more year....

Happy Tuesday!

So yes, as I mentioned earlier to Heidi - no workout for me yet today - but I do have PIYO at 430 today after work.

I've been having some crazy allergies this year and its driving me nuts. I think they are contributing to my being tired all the time too. I wish I could literally kick them to the curb. I don't like taking medication period - so I'm trying to go the natural route (trying some butterbur....but I don't know I'm taking enough to make a difference). Anyone else have issues with allergies?

Swimsuit/short season is right around the corner and I swear every fall I say that I'm going to be ready for it next year...but alas I never am. How does time pass so quickly???

Belinda - what Bob Harper DVD's do you have/recommend? I've heard that they are killer...however I'm not a big fan of him on the biggest loser. Is he motivating?

Hi Karen, Belinda and Sherry!

TY all for the cheers on my wt loss! :) The workouts and eating better really has made the difference. I still have a little more to go but I will take what I can get and hope to keep it off too.

Karen: Oh that is great for you and having your DH help with the cooking as well. ;)
I hope you enjoy your class tonight. I haven't done classes since I was in my late teen early 20's. I just have an issue about workingout around a bunch of other people...I get nervous I guess. ;) I was thinking of trying a spin class sometime...maybe my DD would go with me.

Sometimes I plan on splitting up my workouts like that but it never works out for one excuse or another. So if I plan on cardio and weights in one day I do a shorter cardio workout than normal.

Hi Sherry! Oh that is good news that doing your workout and easy run helped your leg/knee. How is it feeling this afternoon? I would continue with the stretching and rolling too. Every once in awhile my calf starts to act up and I do the same. Stretching exercises etc. it really does help to keep it flexible.

I have done JM earlier workouts like no more trouble zones, banish fat boost metabolism, 6wk 6 pack and 30 Day shred. Believe me I felt everyone of them! LOL! They really get your HR up there and it is circuit training. She usually has levels 1-3 so you start at level 1 and work your way up. My newest additions are the Yoga meltdown, Shred it with weights and killer buns & thighs. This should be an interesting mix coming up next week.

Belinda: Great job on your killer Bob workout!!!! I am hearing that they are tough stuff for sure! :) How are you doing today? ;) Can you move? LOL!
The only one I have is the yoga for warrior. That is a good one! Great for stretching out my tight legs too.
What's your plan for today?

I am headed to finally get in my bike and ab workout. It has been a busy phone call type of day.

Have a great one!

Hi Heidi and all that follow,

This morning I did Imax2 with more pep in my step than normal. Not sure whats going on. Its TTOTM AGAIN for the second time in the last 3 weeks...obviously my body is way out of whack.

Heidi: My piyo class is actually one that I teach! (talk about being nervous...) Well, I'm not so nervous anymore about it - we have fun. Its a small group (9 people) from the district I work for that participates. Last nights class was good aside from the paper cut I got right before class that I didn't have a band-aid for...

I hope everyone has a great day!

Good evening,

Yesterday I did BH Body Rev. Today was a rest day, but I went for a run instead. I did iTread Set 1/ 60 min. Halfway through my run it started to rain HARD, I got soaked!

Heidi - good job, on Imax 2 and runervals (need to check them out!)! Yes, you still can move... like bob's workouts.

Karen - I think, bob is motivationg! Sorry you having problems with your allergies.

Sherry - how is your knee doing? What rotation are you doing? My ENT called a few days ago:eek: once DH can drive, I will get my sinus surgery:confused: not looking forward to it:mad:

That's it for me today. I will be back in the morning. Good night!

Karen: Awesome job on IMAX 2! I haven't done that one in ages! ARGH! I hate papercuts! I got one from the insurance bill last week right between my index and middle finger. Hurt and stung for days....

Good for you teaching a class! You are braver than I for sure. LOL! :)

Good luck on your finales by the way!!!! :)

Did I mention I have DOMS in my abs from yesterday's ab hits? It has really HIT this afternoon after S&G. LOL! ;)

Hi Belinda! Great job yesterday on BH Body Rev! :) Wow that is a long run too! Nice job and I bet the rain felt refreshing just the same. ;)

Have a good evening.

Hi Sherry! Safe travels to you!!! :)

Hi all!

Got in my run tonight - sprints - plus a dog walk and STS extended stretch. Leg and hip are feeling good. I say hip, because once the IT band starts getting loose near the knee, it's the hip that aches a bit until it's loose there, too. (Knee bone connected to the hip bone . . . sorry, couldn't help it!)

Was way too exhausted when I got home last night to do anything. Still trying to figure out if continuing to do STS makes sense or hold off for a few weeks. Thinking . . . need to get some weight work in . . . maybe I should mix in some LIS with my runs for the next few weeks.

Found out the library does have some JM's and BH's, 'course they're all checked out right now, but eventually I could try them. Sound like the two of you are enjoying them.

Heidi - Ab DOMS - good for you! You have been finding the time to get in the wo's lately - good for you!

Karen - Glad you're back! That's great that your DH cooks all the time. Yes, we are always on the go here, but in about a month it will slow down, once school's out.

Belinda - You won't necessarily enjoy the surgery, but hopefully it really works this time and all those sinus issues go away!

See ya all tomorrow! Have a good one!

Hey Sherry, Heidi, and Belinda,

I don't know how this week has been for the rest of you, but it seems to be flying! I woke this morning to the sound of my alarm and said to myself "its to early...I want to sleep in". But then I remembered this check-in and thought "get your butt out of bed so you've got a work out to report!". So I did. :) Slow and Heavy Chest and Back. Felt really good afterwards.

Sherry - Great job on your run! Try not to stress about STS - if it doesn't work for you right now thats ok....its not going anywhere. :)

Heidi - Awesome job with your S&G and ab doms as well! The expression "oldie, but a goodie" comes to mind when you mention Ab Hits.

Belinda - I hope you enjoyed your rest day. BH's workouts sound tough! I am going to check them out this weekend....not that I need ANOTHER dvd! :p

This morning I saw a infomercial for tapoutXT? It looked kind of "insanity-like". All I kept thinking as I was watching it and scarfing down my oatmeal was "my back hurts just watching it!". Has anyone else heard of it?

Well, back to another fun filled day of work. Today is my friday, so YAY! Have a great day everyone!

karen

Good evening girls,

Finally got my workout in:rolleyes: I did BH Yoga for the Worrior. Tomorrow is a scheduled rest day, but I will try to get a cardio workout in. I also walked with my DH (his PT) for almost 2 miles, the dogs liked too:D

Heidi - WTG on your ab DOMS! What did you do today? Well, I got a little cold running in the rain yesterday:confused: the wind didn't help. I just didn't wanted to stop, needed that run. What rotation are you doing again?

Sherry - I agree with Karen! STS isn't going anywhere. You always can do them after your race. Your plan sounds great, I say go for it. That's great your library has JM and BH Dvds, definatley check them out;)

Karen - awesome job getting your workout in this morning. I hear you on another workout dvd, I have so may:confused: I had Bob's dvds for a long time, just getting around, lol! Did you order Cathe's new DVDs? BTW, never heard of tapoutXT?? Need to google it?

Good night, ladies! See you all in the morning.

Hi all!

WO done - in between running around and getting things done, including an errand to get #2 pencils for an exam tomorrow. WO included dog walk while dinner was in the oven, LBS while waiting to go get a kid, and finally Stab Ball Abs once everything else was done.

Karen - Glad we can inspire you to get moving in the a.m. I'd like to get back into the a.m. wo's, but 4 is just too dang early! We're rolling out the door by 6:30, and I'm usually not going to sleep 'til 11. Can't say that I've heard of tapoutXT, but there are so many programs out there right now I can't keep them all straight.

Belinda - Nice job on the yoga. Wow, DH is up to 2 miles already! That's fast. is that every day?

Heidi - What did you get done today? Are you done with the LIS rotation now?

Time for bed. See you all tomorrow!
