Crazy, strong and loving it for Aug 24, 2011

Today I did those intervals that I did from last week that I got from a friends blog only this time I did them all at 5 mph and I did all 12 intervals!

Holy crap was this a puke status workout. At first I told myself I'd get 6 intervals done and then stop. Well, I could not stop, even though I really wanted to. I needed to see if I could do all of these intervals at 5 and I did! I am so excited!

Each interval took 3 minutes and I took a 1 min. 30 second rest in between. That certainly wasn't enough rest. I was doing the rests at 3 mph but had to drop it to 2.5 after the 6th interval. I just could not get my HR to come down at 3.

All in all I did great and I am very proud of myself. I never thought I could do intervals like this. I have to say, each and every one of them were hard for me. Even the first few. By the time I got to #9 I was really wondering if I could get the last 3 done. I had to go inside myself and concentrate on not running spastically. I find once my breath starts to get heavy, I start running like a manic idiot. So I slowed down and ran with the treadmill and that helped a lot. It was still hard, though. Loved it!

HR STATS:
65 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
8 minutes in zone
53 minutes above zone
578 calories
4.25 miles travelled :D

I think that is the highest amount of calories I have ever burned with one workout. Too cool!

Hi Debbie and all that follows,

Wow, on that cal burn! Nice job, girl! I need to give that one a try soon, never got a stop watch either:rolleyes: If you have a minute today, can you answer my ? from yesterday. I am so confused:(

I finished Disc 11 (TB) and JM 30 DS. Need to melt that fat layer of my stomache.

I will be back later!

Belinda - First of all, I find it hard to believe you have much to lose. First of all, what is your calorie range? Give me that info and I'll let you know what I think. And no, you shouldn't be "eating" the calories you burn, but you need to eat to support your activities.

You better believe it! My calorie range in Myfitnesspal is 1340 calories, asuming the took off the 500 cal deficit:eek: I am not sure, if I should eat excerice cal (I burned 432 cal today) or stay in my cal range?

Thanks for you help!

I personally think you should up your calories to at least 1500. You are eating VERY LOW amounts for the workouts you are doing. Up them to 1500 and do that for two or three weeks and see if you have any results.

Thanks for the advice Debbie! I will up my cal for the next 2 or 3 weeks! I thought I was overeating:rolleyes:

Just wanted to say "Hi" to all my crazy strong and loving it girls!

I'm back to doing Peak Fit (week #7) this week. So far, I've gotten in all my workouts. My brother is still very ill and in the hospital. he still is very alert and aware, he just can't move because of pain. They give him months, if he's lucky, to live. :(

Anyhow, I decided I need exercise in my life, so i'm going to stick with it as much as I can. It does help (I think).

Great workouts , as usual, by you girls!!!
