Hi everyone, I'm still trying to get all settle back into a routine. I did do 4DS legs weights only yesterday, but then I started feeling really queasy after and ended up taking some pepto bismol. not sure if I caught something, but was still a bit nauseous today so I took the day off exercise. I do have DOMS in my legs. I'm feeling discombobulated at work, it doesn't help doing the contact in one eye for monovision since I haven't used it for 2+ weeks. My brain is trying to figure out how to see

I pick up some RX glasses on Friday I'm hoping those work for computer/reading and I'm ditching this contact. Also trying to get used to the weather change! got 6 inches of snow yesterday and more planned for tomorrow! While we were gone they had record lows -20 ! Guess I picked a good time to be gone, the cat didn't freeze either since I left the heat on for her (aren't I nice?). DH is out of town this week and will have to start traveling more.
Let me try to give some highlights of the trip:
Arrival in Puerto Rico - Expensive hotel, not worth it....extremely HOT, wish we could have seen the rain forest here.
Day 1- St. Croix, we went snorkeling at Buck Island. uh, it wasn't normal snorkeling, it was ROUGH waters with a strong current and waves breaking over your snorkel at times. What did you think of the sting ray? I also saw a shark (24 inches or so long). DH had issues (he isn't a water person), ended up having to have the guide tow him along on a ring, ended up towing him into some coral, got his legs scratched up bad. I felt so bad and let him decide if he wanted to cancel our other water excursion, he did. I've never seen him so scared. There was a point where I got separated a bit from the group trying to avoid some coral and the current taking me away and I had to swim hard to get to the boat, got on it and the boat was pitching around a lot in the water, got sick (didn't throw up thankfully). I failed to use the public rest room before the bus took us back to the boat, bus driver took a longer way back and I had to pee bad! Got near the boat and the bus driver stopped and said he had to go use the restroom and locked us in the bus. He was gone before I could yell, I have to go too! I couldn't figure out how to open the door, so climbed in the driver seat and got out his door. How embarassing! Every tour ended with Rum punch.
DAy 2- St. Kitts, just did shopping, lots of rum here! Some very yummy, amazing all the rum tasting in the street outside the shops.
Day 3 - St. Lucia, Catamaren ride to the pitons.....boring. Water got rougher near the Pitons, wonder if they are in the Atlantic Ocean side.
Day 4 - Dominica - a bit disappointed in the hikes/waterfall/lake....Colorado has much more impressive ones. Wish we would have snorkeled here, heard it was much better than Buck Island
Day 5 - Barbados - our tour got canceled but we ended up hiring a cab to drive us around for an hour. It was HOT! Could swim with sea turtles but of course we weren't, I've seen sea turtles very close in Mexico and I have no desire for them to get near me in the water
Day 6- Grenada - very interesting seeing how they make the spices. the yellow one in the picture is a cocoa plant, you open it and there are big seeds in a milky, slimy substance, they take a seed and suck on it. It's sweet, I was brave and tried it.
Day 7 - at sea - we were a bit bored on the boat, entertainment on this cruise wasn't as good as the last. We ended up doing a lot of wine and champagne classes learning about them. One time it was an hour of the upper end wines (6 white, 6 red)---we got a bit sloshed

Oh, the cruise had a get together for the anniversary people, just really had a champagne and cake.
Day 8 - curacao - just shopped, we were getting tired by now! bridge was interesting.
Day 9 - Aruba - more shopping (and spent a lot here)--was to do parasailing but we canceled with DH's fear of water
Day 10 - at sea - lots of rocking of the boat going across the Caribbean sea, ready to be home. another wine class. Food starting to taste the same.
Deparature - LONG day at the airport, Puerto Rico airport is a mess. Luggage was overweight, had to open it up and take stuff out (how embarrassing). ended up carrying a bag of dirty clothes as a carry on.
The people on the islands were very nice (but not in Puerto Rico). St. Croix is a little sketchy, police everywhere....I would not feel safe venturing on my own there! The others were relatively safe. The biggest language barrier was in Curacao and Aruba.
I think that's about it. Had fun, glad we went, but happy to be home!
After this I promise to do personals tomorrow
