Cathlete
Hi and good morning,

Today I have Shock Cardio….MMA Boxing on my schedule + a run. If I go for a long run, I will skip MMA boxing!

Have a awesome day, everyone!:D

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Kickbox Challenge from Tracey. Had a really excellent workout and I think its safe to say my ankle is 100%. Was able to do this workout with no problems and gave it my all. I was dripping with sweat when I got done. I really love the stretch in this workout, it's one of my favorites.

CARDIO STATS:
60 minutes total
7 minutes below zone
12 minutes in zone
38 minutes above zone
442 calories burned

I won't be online much today due to the fact that I have to start training someone my job. I don't have a backup at work and haven't been able to take a weeks vacation in over 7 years. I told my boss that I'm planning on taking a week off this summer and he needs to figure out what to do. So he is having me train one of the girls in the office and I sure hope she can catch on. Last week was such a fiasco because of my mom's surgery that we had to print the paper one day early. It's ridiculous that that place can't run without me. I'm sick of it and I'm so sick of that place.

I'm hoping soon to get another job. We'll see. Nothing on the horizon right now. I cannot believe how hard it is to get a job. :(

Hope you all have great workouts and a great day!!!

Good Morning,

Finally a day with no rain we had about 3 inches in less than an hour yesterday and then it just continued to come down. Tonite for me is CLX Burn Intervals and Ab Burner. I have a cat sitting here rubbing against me getting me all hairy before work.

Belind-good job with your workout yesterday and enjoy your run today.

Debbie-good luck with the training it would suck not having a vacation I would have gone crazy by now.

Hi ladies. I need to come up with a cardio plan today. It's too freaking hot to run outside and I just can't stand the thought of the gym and dreadmill. Not really feeling excited about step either....what to do what to do.

Belinda - enjoy your workouts!

Debbie - glad to hear your ankle is better. I can't believe you haven't been able to take a week off in that time. Holy cow. You soooo need to find something else.

Roxie - good job with your workout last night!

Nora - maybe you need to take a couple of days off and just rest up? I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Chris, Jessica, Jolene, and Melissa!!!!

Hi girls,

I ended up doing CCV4, outside! I burned 518 cal. Not sure if I have the engery for a second cardio today.

Heather - do you like kickboxing? Hope you came up with something! Good luck!

Debbie - can't believe you haven't taking a vacation in over 7 years! You need a vacation girl! Good luck training the new girl. Nice cal burn today.

Roxie - have fun with your workout.

Chris, Jessica, Jolene, and Melissa - have a great workout today.

I will be back later!

Belinda - seriously - I think that's quite enough cardio LOL!! I do like kickboxing, but that's pretty much all I've done this week. Today is cardio only, so I need a longer workout and the only KB workouts I have that I have not done are the shorter ones (MMA and Kickmax).

Morning ladies! SUPER muggy out today, ew. Hair is already frizzy and its driving me nuts. AND for some reason I sweat at the drop of a hat lately which makes for getting ready in the morning very interesting. I notice I sweat easier after a hard workout so that's probably part of it - body still recovering, but still. It wasn't pretty this AM. I literally turned the AC just to do my hair LOL.

Anyway, I did STS back/bi's - M2, D15. It was killer today! Sweating was a given and my arms were wobbly by the end. And man the back to back chinups were killer on the pullup tower! I love it. :) And Roxie - I did my abs. Stability ball abs which I hadn't done in an awhile - was glad to see I am better at it than last time with the exception of pikes on the ball. That's my new goal - to do a proper pike on that damn ball! ;)

Heather - no ideas on cardio huh? Not into a run, too hot. Not into KB since you've done that already. What about a boot camp-style workout in your house where it's cooler? Or an oldie but goodie step - Imax 3 or Low impact step maybe?

Belinda - nice job on that workout, quite the calorie burn!

Debbie - I cannot even believe you've not taken a week off in SEVEN years. That is insane. And here I am compliaining about my job, at least I can take my vaca time, wow. I am so sorry! What type of work to do you that nobody else is capable? Good luck training!!

Roxie - get those abs done tonight, hehe ;)

Hi Melissa, Nora, Jo, Chris (am I forgetting anyone??)

Roxie - I do have OnDemand and have gone through and tried out a few workouts. But the cardio is typically intermediate and shorter than I am looking for. I have found a couple that I do like for 20 min quickies though and for yoga too.

Jessica - Our heat indices are reaching 100+ so running past 7 am is just not gonna happen for me!! Makes me sad b/c I'm missing my lunchtime runs now. The reason I haven't been doing step much is because it kills my feet (Plantar Fasciitis). Seriously feels like spikes in my heels. Really frustrating to be honest. I may do Cardio Fusion though since it is a combo of step then the drills from Drillmax.

Sorry this is short and no personals, but I'm taking DH clothes shopping (for Father's Day).

My workout was Chalene's Turbo Kick Round 31. These are harder than Turbo Jams, but the same style. Man, I was DRIPPING!!!! I did Seg #1 of Stretch Max and cooled off nicely!

Will try to BBL for personals!!!

OWW. That sounds painful!! I don't blame you for avoiding step for that reason. Cardio Fusion is a good option - or even Low Impact Circuit?

Hi you all! I have a few minutes so I thought I'd update you on my job since some of you asked. I work for a small town newspaper. We publish once a week. I'm the one who does the layout and sends the files to the ftp site to have our paper printed. It is very detailed with the steps on how to do it and such a pain to even try to train anyone to do it. But I don't have a choice anymore. I'm sick of not being able to take a Wednesday or Thursday off if I need to.

And although I can't take an entire week off, I have been able to take Friday through Tuesday off. But still, an entire week would be nice and it's a pain to schedule stuff around Wed. & Thurs.

I'm just hoping that soon I'll be out of here. I hate it.

You all are doing some excellent workouts! Belinda, you go girl!!!!

Hi Melissa, Nora, Jo, Chris (am I forgetting anyone??)

Jessica-I did abs last night I will do them again tonite. Good Job getting yours done.

Quick post for me...my apologies. I skimmed over everyone's posts but don't have alot of time for personals. I'm off tomorrow so I have get all my ducks in a row today. I'm going whale watching with DD's Girl Scout troop...I'M SO EXCITED!!! I've never been before...

I have CTX Leaner Legs & Back on my rotation for today. I'm going to have to get to it as soon as I get home from work since we are taking DD out to dinner to celebrate her last day of school and her moving up to middle school. I actually got up early enough to get it in this morning, but DD woke up and wanted her hair straightened for her last day of school. Took forever. That girl's got ALOT of hair!! Came out good though, I think she was impressed with my flat-ironing skills...:D

Looks like everyone is having a good day and getting great workouts in...^^^5's!!!

I am done with workout #2:p I had a sweat fest with MMA Boxing, I also did abs!

I am beat today, to much cardio today :D Not sure how my legs feel tomorrow, I will do D3!

Thanks Debbie!

High fives, on your workouts girls!

Off to the showe, BBL!

Good Evening,

Tonite I did Burn Interval and Ab Burner and these workouts are killer.

BI Stats:
46 min
42 in the zone
150 min hr
180 max hr
344 cals burned.

Abs:
10 min
3 in the zone
119 min hr
149 max hr
51 cals burned.

Jessica-I got my abs done.

Hi girls!;)

I'm still about the same. I did however, order Turbo Fire Basic set from a beachbody coach via totafitnessdvds.net. I couldn't resist, I still might in a month or two order the Advanced dvds only of Turb Fire the additional 5 workouts, but not sure we'll see. I know I might order Amy's new ones when they are up for pre order so not sure.

here's today's workout:

Kathy Smith-Cardio Knockout- Aerobox with Michael Olajide Jr.= 55 Min
Calories burned= 676
Met= 9.0

Insanity Cardio Abs= 16 Min
Calories burned= 98
Met= 4.5

I really like Michael Olajide Jr's boxing workouts and this was the first I'd seen him years ago on this Kathy Smith workout on vhs so I saw this on amazon for $5.98 with a kickboxing workout and a separate tai chi workout as well. I think this was the best Kathy Smith put out. I liked these workout because I could focus on the instructors of these disciplines and not her. I liked Michael Olajide Jr. so much I ordered a couple of other Aero workouts. If you like boxing workouts this is a great one and with great cardio too with jump rope.

Ok, sorry for the late check in. I just don't have any energy or anything left in me for personals tonight so I apologize. Have a great evening girls.;)

Hugs!;):)

Nora
