Hi ladies - I did biceps and back at lunch. I really needed that break too. 3 sets 8 reps, slow count (like in slow & heavy)

Debbie - you asked if my mood was work related - I'll jump on the anti-work bandwagon. While I don't hate this job, I don't LOVE it. I don't LOVE the idea of getting up and coming here and spending 40 hours of my precious life. Now, I appreciate this job so much more b/c like you Jessica and Roxie, I had a job where I cried every single day before work, at work, after work. It was the most miserable existence. I am very fortunate with this job, my boss, pay, coworkers, etc. It's jut not what I feel I should be doing with my life.

Melissa - if I hadn't just gotten back from vacation, I'd be all over playing hooky!

I really hate to hear that you're at that point. I was ill all the time - major migraines weekly even. It was horrible. I was horrible to even be around. I was to the point where I was ready to turn in my notice and be jobless and Jason was A-Ok with it. I just lucked into this job right at the same time.

I often think about trying to do something in fitness, but I know that's not where the money really is...ah gotta love the money factor.

I like the hours to my job who can beat Mon-Fri 9-5 no holidays and no weekends but I just never know what kind of mood she is going to be in, but that co-worker I was talking about told me that when I walk out the door at 5pm. to just let the job go and then when I walk in the door at 8:45 to remember 5:00 is right around the corner, and he says I should know what to expect its been this way since I started 4 years ago.
 
That stinks when it's your boss that's the problem. I am totally in agreement on letting the job go when you walk out the door. I do not think about work the minute I leave here.

I'm feeling a little better today, but my knees still are bugging me. Its funny I anticipated them hurting doing Insanity and they didn't, now they do and I'm doing less impact, go figure!:rolleyes:

STS Cardio : Circuit Blast= 44 Min
Calories burned= 421
That was so much fun! I did this workout when I first received my pre-order of the Shock Cardio's, but haven't done it since. Wow, that's an extremely time efficient maximum bang for your buck circuit workout in very little time. Love this workout and its tons of fun!:)

GS- Back, Shoulders & Biceps Timesaver= 36 Min
Calories burned= 295
Ok, what's not to love about Gym Styles they all rock and deliver, and I opted for the timesaver and it was awesome, never discount any of the Gymstyles workouts, they rock!

Total calories burned= 716;)

I think I need to find a way to "disconnect" when I leave the office. The problem? That I have a blackberry and my clients know it so it's hard for me to ignore that flashing red light sometimes...I am getting better at it, but still. It's always looming. Ugh. Why can't fitness pay the bills?!?!
 
Nora - glad you are feeling better today. I did Circuit Blast a couple of weeks ago and loved it. It was so much fun!!! The Shock Cardio workouts intimidate me for some reason so I've been breaking into them slowly.

Hang in there girls...it's almost quittin' time!!! :D

I'm going to do my very best to resist the urge to pull into Starbucks for an iced coffee on the way home. I think I've had enough...:eek:

Belinda- You are a crazy woman doing a 42 min run then doing SC HiiT 40/20:eek: Wow, that's a killer workout. WTG~;)

Debbie- Sorry your ankle is still a bit tender, great job taking it easier on the cardio while your on the mend. Great workout today! I hope your mom is doing well and that you both mend quickly.;)

Melissa- I love your workout today, that sounds fun. Did you do CCV1 on your bike? Oh that reminds me is your bike a recumbent bike or is it a upright one? I'm still wanting to get a Gold's Gym exercise bike and looking at the recumbent kind. CTX is a great workout with lots of great stuff, great job with your CTX Tri's and CCV1 work outs today.

Chris- I know what you mean about the kids being out of school very soon. Tomorrow is the last day for my two boys. Take care of your right hip, its strange how things like that just suddenly make themselves known. Its happened a lot to me. Congrats on getting a run in today. Yes, I'm totally doing the countdown for Turbo Fire, I can't wait!!! Since I already have Insanity I will likely just order Turbo Fire basic, which is still awesome. I love Chalene's energy and fun in her workouts and the music is always slammin'.

Roxie- Oh no, please be careful and I hope the flood warnings pass with no flooding at all where you are. ;)

Jessica- Girl, you have some serious kickbutt workouts that you do, ^5's! I hope you and your hubby have a great run tonight, take care and enjoy the nice weather.;)

Heather- KPC has lots of great premixes. I'm sorry your having one of those days. Hopefully, after your workout you'll feel better. I know that does help me to workout kind of exercise the funk right out of me. I have to confess that I've not really explored the pre mixes but will tomorrow doing KPC-Premix-KB Cardio Drills plus KB Strength & Circuit + Abs= 82 Min that Cathe has on her dvds. So, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's workout. Hang in there Heather and feel better. ;):)

Melissa- I love coffee too! I need caffeine to function and nobody gets hurt! LOL!!:D

Roxie- I'm so sorry you and some of the other girls have Boss's that are butts, I know how that goes. It sucks! I think the boss's picture to aim at when doing Kickboxing is brilliant and a positive way to work out the stress and feel better. Yep, I like it a lot,!;)
