GM LADIES-

Yesterday was cardio and I did 30/30 HIIT. That workout kicked my bootie yesterday, I was really sucking wind at the end :D Today is weights and steady state. Sorry I couldn't get back on here yesterday, work was nuts.

Linda-I did notice the cooldown not being there, but I must confess that I am one of those exercisers that does not really cool down. I can see why others are upset though. She could have filmed one cool down and just put it in all the videos. Maybe it was a time issue.

Lora-was yesterday the puma question? I have some that are not running shoes and I must say they do lack support compared to others, but they are nice for running around.

Sorry if I missed anyone or am on the wrong topics

Today was the same workout I did last Wednesday, only in superset format and I upped my weights a bit.

90 second rest between each superset. Each superset was 3 sets/8 reps each.

SS #1
Dumbbell Military Press - 22's (up 2#)
ss w/
Leg Press Station - 160# (up 5#)
***Good superset, could have gone heavier with the leg press, but my right knee is really bothering me.

SS #2
Incline Dumbbell Press - 37's (up 2#)
ss w/
Chinups - 8/8/8 (last week was 8/5/5)
***I could not believe I was able to do 8 reps with each of these supersets with chins. I felt really strong today.

SS #3
Barbell Preacher Curls - 57# (up 2#)
ss w/
Lying Barbell Tricep Extensions - 57# (up 2#)
***Each of these exercises were tough. I went to complete failure with both exercises on all three sets.

ABS
Step Jump & Pump Ab Work
***Love this one, got a good workout and concentrated on all the movements.

Went to bed with a headache last night and woke up with the same headache this morning. Which only continued to get worse, but sometime during my workout it disappeared and I didn't even realize it.

Today was P90X Shoulders & Arms. I really like this one. Kept my weights the same but lowered some of the shoulders ones a bit. Off to see my massage therapist now!

Theresa - Nice going on 30/30. What do those terms mean? 30/30, 40/20, 20/20???

Linda - Great job on the workout and concurring that headache! Hope it doesn't come back. Hope the massage thherapist helps! Are you going for your shoulder?

Diane Sue - I'm looking at foam rollers on ebay. What size should I get? There are a ton of them out there.

Debbie-It's the shock cardio HIIT. The 30/30 is 30 sec work 30 sec recovery. You should check those out. They are like plyo x and imax on crack :D

Linda, I hate when I go to bed with a headache only to wake with the same one. Glad it got better.

Debbie - I couldn't do the chair dips this morning, just hurt the front of my shoulder too much and I decided it wasn't worth it. I subbed Close Grip Presses instead. And yes, I see the massage therapist for my shoulder. He has my shoulder aching like crazy right now, but a small price to pay knowing that once the ache is gone it will feel better.

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did Lauren Brooks Baby Bells & The Finisher from her new kettlebell DVD. Workout was 60" and I burned 502 calories. I also did Kundalini Yoga - Fat Free Yoga Total Tune Up segment and neck/shoulder segment from Beginners & Beyond.

I'm also going for Massotherapy today. I can't wait...as I've been miserable.

Thanks for the link on the foam roller. I just ordered it, as I need a new one.

Have a great day everyone. I'm off today..........Yippeee......

Hi Ladies,
I went to my first yoga class at Yoga Works today, and I really like it. It's a nice studio, the rooms are warm, the teacher was cool, got a good workout, and plus there's a discount for teachers, yay! Only drawback is I was hoping to find a place I could get to without the freeway, in case traffic is bad, but it's not too much freeway time. Well...back to work, sigh.
