**though this weeks dl's were heavy, I still feel my form was really good.
**bummed I ran out of time for the broad jumps. they are fun...may tack them on tomorrows met con for the cash out.

Today is my anniversary!! #15 :):) my boys think its cool that its my anniversary and Friday the 13th!!LOL....I have explained we were married on a Sunday, but they still think its cool! We never thought of that when we picked the date. (I actually wanted to get married in October, but that's another story for another day....if we had been smart, we would have gotten married in the Rabbi's study in Oct. just us and not tell anyone, and then do the big wedding on nov. 13th....hindsight is always 20/20!!):p

Hi Everyone!

I survived the workout yesterday. Still not feeling 100% but the workout made me feel better temporarily. I finally got my car back and it seems to be running good! Yay!

Here is my made up workout for today. I'm doing some running so I'll be wearing my headlamp so I don't trip on my messy rutted road.

Max Rounds in 30 minutes
10 Heavy Swings
10 SDHP
20 Squats
Walking Lunges down driveway to street
Run 200m
Walking Lunges up driveway to carport

I sold my Cathe's on eBay. I've sold quite a few of her DVD's on there and they hold their value. So far, I've never had a problem with the transactions. I'm thinking my BodyBlast series may be the next to go...I want a new barbell. ;)

Melissa - Love the workout you did yesterday! I hemmed and hawed for a while before I was able to get rid of my first DVDs...but once I did, it was kind of liberating...in a weird way...one less thing to dust. :p

Marcy - You are my handstand/headstand hero! Great job! I can imagine Max trying to get in on your yoga practice. :) Thanks for the pull-up pointers. What I'm trying to do is every time I leave my office, I come back and do 3 or 4 attempts at pull ups (or something like them). I have one co-worker who likes to wander in my office and leg raises...it's kinda funny. :)

Jane - I'm glad you survived yesterday workout. Hope the thrusters were fun. :) I like what you have planned today. Glad your car is back!

Waves hello to Rhonda!

I ended up with a throbbing headache last night, so skipped the workout. I doubt I'll get one in tonight. My Dad is coming tonight to stay at our house intermittently for hunting season, and my gym is the temporary second bedroom. :( I'll figure something out for the weekend though.

Good Afternoon!

I did 30 Day Shred Workout #2 this morning and Core Fusion Glutes & Thighs Kneeling Gluteal Toner this morning. The chair squat with V-Fly was still tough for me with 8#. Went up to 12# on Pendulum Lunge with Hammer Curl (up 2#). The rest was:

Walkout pushups
Squat with row - 10#
Hi Knees/Thrusters
Static Lunge with Row - 12#
Cardio - Oblique twist jumps and skaters
Double Leg Lift with 5# dbbls overhead
Military Press with Leg Extension - 8#
Plank Jacks
Double Jumprope
Plank Twist

The Core Fusion Glutes & Thighs is pretty good. Much slower than CardioBarre but you can really concentrate on your form and I was definitely feeling the burn in all the right places.

I'm thinking of going back to a Jillian rotation with Shred 3x a week and barrework on the same day, one day of yoga and one day of pilates, barre, yoga or cardio or a combination thereof.

Gayle - What a positive role model you are at work!:p Congrats on selling your DVDs! Cathe's usually hold their value pretty well. I bought most of my Cathe collection on ebay and never had a problem with any of them. My DH is possibly getting rid of his record collection right now. His records were always really important to him and he's got some great ones and kept them in great condition. He put it up on CL yesterday and had quite a few responses. I can't believe he's getting rid of it but he says he never plays them and we could use the money.

If anyone has any old DVDs or VHSs that they don't need to sell and just want to get rid of, there's someone on VF who works at a women's shelter and says they really appreciate fitness DVDs. I'll be going through my collection this weekend. If anyone needs any info, I'll get her name.

One more day of school till January

Hi cyber pals. I did 30 min of Low Max. I did better today. Usually during TTOTM, I get all stumbly and clumsy. When that happens I just go sit down and try again later. I may finsh tonight but I need to study.

Great workouts everyone. I will be back on Monday with hopefully no interruptions. My sister is in the hospital so the next time I post, hopefully I will be an aunt for the very 1st time:D.
