Hi and good morning,

Not sure what I will do today?

I will be back for personals!

Have a great workout and day!

Last night I did PUB. I was making so many strained faces during those bicep curls. yikes! I felt like they were going to POP! They are sore today so that is awesome.

Sorry so short - my pup is giving me the eyes.

Today was cardio. I chose In the Ring with Amy Bento. I did the first premix which had 4 kickboxing routines and 4 med ball intervals. Very fun workout. I'm finally getting the moves down and that makes the workout that much better.

Then I did the Ab section from Cardio & Weights. Love that one.

My biceps are screaming at me today. Yesterday's workout kicked my ass. :hyper:

HR STATS:
1 hour total (with abs)
8 minutes below zone
30 minutes in zone
22 minutes above zone
438 calories burned

Well, today there was no way I was getting up early to attempt GS legs. I am leaving work at 1:30 to run errands then I'll do legs when I get home. I'm tired thinking about that one. I know it goes by fast once you get going...it's just the getting going part!

Karen - good job with PUB!

Debbie - Sounds like you're starting to enjoy your cardio a bit more perhaps??? How's your kitty by the way?

Heather

Debbie - I have 2 more weeks of the strength rotation that Patti and I put together. I have so many other Cathe weight DVDs, but they are mostly muscle endurance. In your opinion, what is the most effective way to use those types of workouts? I have looked through her rotations, and often she does upper and lower twice during a week, sometimes two full body. After focusing more on one or two muscle groups at a time, I am just curious how often the muscle endurance workouts should be done.

In the past I would do 2 ME workouts and sometimes a circuit style within a week. Thinking about doing that now sounds exhausting! LOL

Thanks,
Heather

Kitty is crazy. He did well with his surgery. We are suppose to keep him from jumping up on things, running, playing for like 3 days. Yea right. What was the first thing he did after he got home? Jumped on his house my dh made him. Yeesh. He's doing good, though, thanks for asking!

Work it however you like to train. If you prefer doing total body, do total body workouts twice a week and put a circuit workout in. If you like working upper and lower on seperate days, you can do that as well. I have a lot of rotations with endurance workouts in them, you might want to check out the thread where I have all my rotations. Here is the link:

Skim through them and see if anything strikes your fancy.

Hey Everyone!

I was at an educational thing all day yesterday for work. It SUCKED for many reasons: the commute in and home during rush hour , SITTING on my arse all day (I swear, it was SORE!), and having to reschedule my workouts this week. I thought about getting up at 5am to do STS DISC 2 (tri's and back), but I couldn't do it. i was up late on Tuesday, and there was no way. Plus I found an alternative schedule, (I have Sat off this weekend, so I can work out on Sunday this week).

So today I did DISC 2. I am KNOWING my triceps are going to be hurting tomorrow!!! I'm glad I had my 1RM's, because they pushed me to go heavier than I would have. Esp on triceps. I then kept my Abs day and did Abs from KPC.

Belinda: Hope you have a good work out today and feel good!

Debbie: I understand the DOMS from STS .... crazy , huh? Good cardio today and good ab work!!! What kind of surgery did your kitty have? Ummm..I'm thinking there is little chance for keeping a kitty from being overly active!! LOL!

Heather: Oh I gotcha on not being able to get up and do another workout this week. I don't know how you did the 2 you did!!! Glad you can work it into your afternoon. Let us know how GS legs goes for ya!

Roxie: Hey! Have missed you posting! YOu had better keep posting here!!! We all push ourselves in different ways. there's no working out harder than anyone else. It's all personal!!! So get back to posting!!!... That's awesome your DH is quitting smoking! What a GREAT thing to do for himself AND you!!!

Karen: Oh I do remember the shaking going on with PUB biceps!!! Good workout!!!

BIG HEY to Nora! and miss ya Patti!!!!

I'm making chicken soup , it smells sooo good, it's dark and cool out today, plus my youngest son was kind enough to share his cold with me and my OTHER son Alex. So chicken soup is going to hit the spot today!!!!

Poor kitty! (But smart move!)... Yep. I have the 2nd half of the class NEXT Wednesday and then I have to take a test to become certified... ACK!

Ok, made it through GS legs. The first part flies by, but then by the time you do the floorwork it starts to drag on and on and....well you get the idea. I went a lot heavier. I can still walk as of right now! I also did the weights part of weights/plates abs.

Managed to get quesadillas prepped for tomorrow (DH thinks they are for Sat when family is coming up) along with cupcakes and a black bean and corn salsa with fresh tomatoes from the garden. Yum. I have a friend coming by tomorrow at 5 to help me pull it all together. Now let's just pray I can get out of work before 5:30!

Chris - trust me, it was soooo difficult to get up and get those workouts in this week. I just had to though. I really wish I could get used to doing that all the time. I felt so free in the afternoon! Hell, I pretty much had forgotten that I'd even worked out LOL!
