Morning lovelies,

Our house guest is gone and I'm back in action. It's crazy how much having someone around can affect my routine. I just felt obligated to show him French food and it just kind of was crazy.

Slept in today (love my dh) and am getting ready to attack my last session of plyo cardio circuit. Then tonight we will do cardio recovery and then we'll be on track for Sunday rest days.

Rest week coming up...

Angie, are you getting a full rest week from Insanity now? Good luck climbing back on the wagon today!
Kate, how did dance go last night? Any pictures?
Klaudia, great workout yesterday. Did you stay out of the pantry?
Nina, yes I have thought a LOT about going back to get my Master or Arts in Teaching so I could teach k-3rd. It's expensive, I would have to quit my job (health insurance dilemma once again) and then what if another baby comes along. I'm not ruling it out, but I'm not sure that now is the right time either.
Anne, I am actually meeting with a therapist next week to talk about starting biofeedback (which is much like meditation) and neurofeedback. I hope it works!

Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness yesterday. I honestly think that I just really really really am ready to get pregnant. Luckily Chris is on board with this, so hopefully we will have another C&T baby one of these days! I need to make it thru this half marathon first, though....

On a different note, I just have to say..... This HM training is making me HUNGRY ALL THE TIME (I'm sure I'm not pregnant! Well, mostly sure!;)). It is so weird because my weight is actually UP a couple of pounds, but my pants are very roomy. And I am eating crap all.the.time. it seems like, and the scale is still the same. I hate to say this, but... I think I like the way my body LOOKS better when I am doing step and lifting heavy. But I am totally addicted to running..... So what do I do?? I will decide after my half - for now, I will just enjoy all the eating!
 
good morning all. i am experimenting with t home hair color. i have 7 more minutes to write this. i am trying to save money, but i am also not very artistically inclined. just praying it isn't a disaster.

katie, your post made me smile. pregnancy is such a blessing, but it does make it hard to figure out life too. why do you need a masters to teach k-3rd? all states have different requirements i guess. i know my appetite is up when i get above 40 miles a week. glad your pants fit well, though. maybe try different things periodically?

angie, have fun with your wos today. so glad you slept in!

i had a nice run this am. now am going to close this and rinse out my hair - wish me luck!!

Good Morning !

Quick post for me. I already wrote one and my computer shut down to configure something & I lost my post. I just got a brand new laptop (love it) but it is still doing updates and I guess it has it's own mind , and does it when IT wants ! :) ha

We are going to the Renaissance festival today too Kate !!! It will be a lot of fun and .........uh .........good food too. lol:rolleyes:

Wow it must be a renaissance festival weekend! We are going tomorrow with Chris' family. Today we are celebrating MIL's bday. Sorry I haven't been around but short weeks at work are always busy. I just wish my weekend wasn't so busy. Today's workout should be Max Interval Plyo and a 15 min run. I don't have a lot of time so I may have to do something else.

Angie, enjoy your rest week! I almost felt like I wasn't working out.
Katie, sorry about your problems the last few days. I have been hungrier since doing Insanity too. I guess it is all the cardio. I can't wait to add weight workouts back in.
Kate, wow - Gina seems so young to be diving. Enjoy watching your girls swim today.
Becky, congrats on your new laptop - what kind did you get?
Anne, I love greasy mexican food. I don't even look at the enchiladas on the menu. Too much temptation.

Nina, your post made me laugh! I am running about 17 miles this week, LOL. Yes, in Virginia you have to have a MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching). It changed about 10 years ago. It would take me a year and a half to do.

Kate, have fun today! We have swimming today too!

Becky, have fun at your festival.

Colleen, how far into Insanity are you? Let us know how your run goes!

This morning I did back & tris (using meso one for now) and some PT exercises. Off to the shower now. Believe it or not, I am NOT hungry!

Another beautiful day here in MI-sunny and warm. Not sure what we're going to do yet-FIL is coming over at 5 for dinner and Darrin's got a golf tournament at noon and I have a feeling I'm going to be doing some solo entertaining-blech. Not sure on my workout either-Plyo Legs or Shoulders and Arms. I am struggling through the same old dilemma-are my muscles too big, not big enough, cut, not cut, blah, blah.

Katie, I stayed out of the freezer for seconds!:eek: But I think it's ok-dinner was pretty low in calories-I hope! Are your sure about the MAT? In MI you can get a post bachelor's degree in education and a teaching certificate concurrently-that's what I did:) They even offer some accelerated programs for people who work and want to switch careers.

Nina, hope your hair turns out how you want it! I want my aunt to start touching up my hair-she's a beautician and does my mom and grandma's hair. I pay $65 plus tip for a cut and color every 5-6 months but I'm always grayer when I go back!

Kate, perfect day for the Ren Fest! Glad the girls had fun at dance:) Don't worry-I had your ice cream!

Colleen, I got a little 13.3 HP Notebook. Easy to carry around and lot's of power and great features. I already love it. :)

Angie, I'm sorry! I think yesterday you asked me about CLX! I am a newbie to it, but I really, really like it !!
If you already like Chalene, that's a plus because I hear some people are turned off by her "energy". but I like her just fine. The workouts or short and TOUGH! You go HEAVY and you feel it !!!!
I got the whole program on Ebay for $47, so it was a bargain too !

Katie i agree with Nina variety is the spice that keeps us going. Even if you are hungry all the time does not mean that you can eat junk...right. Hey even the Obamas eat clean food now. How often do you step? I guess when Cathe sends out her new cardio then we will all be motivated to step-on. ok preaching is over.

Nina how did your hair come out? I did my own relaxer and color and it turned my blond highlight arburn red...people tell me I looked younger.:rolleyes:

I'm off from work today so I'm shopping for DD gifts, upgrading her phone and maybe take in a movie. Final Destination looks interesting. I like stuff like that.

I'm going to do some cardio for sure today. My chest have DOMS and my calves...not sure why my calves are sore.

hi Klaudia and nos your muscle are not too big. Here in catheworld you look great. I was talking to a lady at work and she had on a sleeveless shirt on and I kept looking at her flabby arms and then when she laughed she wave those arms. I thought dag she doesn't do Cathe or the Firm. And then when she told me her age...she was only 2 years older than me.

Ren Fest weekend on the CT board for sure! WOW! Except we're not going anymore. We just have too much to do and our poor girls are overscheduled this week as it is. Maybe another weekend....

I got 4DS Legs done. And even a shower! :D Maybe some cardio later.

morning again chatty ladies! weed max done, and we are off to the arts market. i think they have music and some farmers market stuff and face painting. boys are grumpy. my hair turned out a-okay. and i saved like 100$. 8.95 for loreal, and i am worth it:p

katie, are you getting enough carbs and fat? i feel better when i eat more fats when running a lot. you asked a while ago about where i stash a bananna on my long run. i usually loop back by my house around 11 or 12 and i leave out some gatorade and 1/2 a bananna.

kate, sorrey about over scheduling. i worry about that. take it easy today, and great wo!

klaudia, 1 week ago i thought i had perfect sized muscles. now they are too big. sigh! i do love ff's jan rotation for getting "more cut."

becky, is it chalene extreme you ar doing? 49 is great!!

hey ladies...ate a bad burgerking breakfast...boooo, but had a good lite lunch. Dinner is chicken and beef tacos.

I don't think that I can do insanity..too much high impact.

Instead of going to the movies we rented about 8 DVDs...and 2 xbox gamecist about the same as going to the movies.

Waa! My Spartans lost!:( Spent the last 3 1/2 hours watching a game only to see them tank. Now I need to hurry up and get my workout done before my FIL comes over.

Robin, I love movies in-you can take bathroom breaks without missing anything and eat good popcorn:)

Nina, I did pull ups at the park yesterday on the monkey bars:)

I am so bummed about that dumb game and my neighbor just called to rub it in!
 
Burned off my frustration doing P90X Shoulders and Arms. Buffalo Chicken Dip is in the oven (light version;)) and I'm off to peel potatoes.
