Good morning,

I will do cardio today, not sure what yet? I am soooooooooooooo sore today:confused:

I had every intention of getting up early and getting my workout done. However, alarm never went off. Thank goodness DH had set his phone alarm to get up and run or I'd still be in bed! We've had some electric work done and DH reset the alarm clock (which he has never done before). So I realized this morning that it was set for PM rather than AM so my alarm wasn't going to go off until this evening! Yesterday I got up before the alarm so I didn't notice the error. Oh well, now I have all day to change my mind about what I want to do :eek: LOL.

Belinda - maybe just do an easy walk or slow run to loosen up, but not go overboard?

Nora - awesome burn on the weights!!! You must have been working your tail off!

This morning was cardio and I'm telling you, if I can get away with doing no cardio I would. I hate it. But I laced up my shoes and did one of my Cardio Coach mixes. Had a decent workout but didn't go balls to the wall today. My right knee is still bothering me so I'm trying to be careful with it. It now hurts to walk up the stairs. :rolleyes:

Usually I get to 4 miles with this workout so that shows you that I wasn't pushing it. Happy with these stats, though.

Tonite is Burn it Up again and will make sure I eat enough today so I am strong enough to complete the whole thing curious what the cal burn will be.

Yeah, glad I wasn’t the only one yesterday that didn’t have it in me. Thanks! Today STS ab circuit “Weights&Plates” is on the rotation, don’t think I will do that one today. Still can’t lift my arms.

Debbie - good job! It's tough to get up the willpower to get through something you just don't want to do so kudos to you! Take care of that knee!

Belinda - if your arms are fried, maybe choose another ab workout!!

Roxie - glad to hear that your workout last night was surprisingly harder than you expected. Eat eat eat!!! ;) Make sure you get in some protein and carbs for your workout or it just won't be worth doing.

Hey Everyone!

Today is a STS Plyo Legs workout. I think I'll do the second one (i remember not particularly liking the first).

Belinda: Great run today! You started Meso 2 yesterday, right? It's funny how the STS workouts really get IN there. I had VERY little DOMS from S&H last week, but already am feeling my triceps from STS MESO 3's Shoulders, Bi's and Tri's from yesterday afternoon!

Heather: Oh crap on the alarm! Getting up later always throws me. Hope you get something good in today!...

Debbie: It's funny how you dislike cardio so much. Don't you get the endorphins?? It seems every time you say you do a run, you say your knee hurts. Maybe do some low impact stuff or change up to another cardio? how do you usually feel with KB or Step?

Roxie: I'm glad you found a good SI6 workout!! But I agree with Heather, eat more, girl, or your workouts are worthless and will do you no good!! You're going to get sick or get hurt working out on such little fuel! Take care of you, YOU!!

Hi Roxie - Ab work is about once a week so I am doing it. I wish I could get it done about twice a week, though.

Belinda - I like the weights part of that workout, but didn't do the plate part of it. LOL!! I just have a hate/hate relationship with the plate work in STS.

Hi Chris - Actually, this is the first workout where my knee hurt during the actual workout. I wrapped a knee wrap thing around it and that helped. I don't even want to attempt a step workout because it hurts for me to walk up steps. So that's out for a while.
 
I ended up doing PS legs and abs today. I will probably take tomorrow as a rest day. I'm feeling like I really need one. My only complaint about the PS workouts is the fast reps. I don't feel like I got to go as heavy as I was hoping. Of course, I may very well recant if I'm sore tomorrow! LOL

Here's my workout today:

iFitcard-Jillian Michaels-Lose Weight-Level 2,Program 2, Week 4= 30 minutes
Distance= 2.36 Miles
Calories burned= 389
BPM's= 125,150,153,148,153,115

Jillian is tough, no joke!!! The workout is supposed to be walking on the treadmill and using different speeds and incline %'s to make it tough, which it is. But She does take you up to 6 mph and i think a bit more which for me is too fast to walk so I do a jog/run instead. The inclines are tough she'll take you up to 10 or 12% on the incline and as low as 0% to start and eventually cool down. Man this gets the heart rate and calorie burn going big time in just 30 minutes, Phew!! You will sweat and you will really have to push yourself but no pain no gain. As Jillian says, "Results are not given they are earned."

STS Meso 3 Week 1 Plyo Legs Disc#26=46 Minutes
Calories burned= Aprox. 377

Ok, I'm so pooped after all that:p:D Geez, tomorrow I have to take my First born to register for high school, yikes where did the time go!:eek:

Chris, I started Meso 2 Monday. I still have DOMS in my UB, this one did me good. Nice job on Plyo legs. Nice job on your DOMS.

Debbie, I like the weight part in the ab workout as well, the plates are a different story.

Heather, nice job with PS legs, for some reason I like that one.

Nora, Jillian Michaels iFitcard workout sounds tough. WTG on Plyo Legs as well. What is iFitcard and where can I get it? Is it a download?
