Can you believe that I am here already?:eek: I like the days of checking in with my coffee and those days are far and few between!:( Oh well...one of these days everything will return back to normal.

I set my alarm for 6, hoping to be gone for a run by 7 and back by 8-8:30....I rolled over at 7:30 when DS woke us up! LOL I had the alarm set on radio cause I don't like blarring alarms that wake everyone up on the st! We both slept through the radio chit chat for 90 mins!:eek: I think I needed some serious sleep b/c of working those 3 night shifts. I will probably get my sister to come over today and watch DS while i go for a run:D

Its raining here today to but I don't mind. I can't get anything done when its nice out b/c DS wants to be outside playing all day and so do I! I will get everything I need to get done today, no prob! Although, he will still be whining at the door, no doubt.

DD is leaving tomorrow to go visit her father for 1 week:( I "think" I am going to miss her:p She can drive me nuts sometimes b/c she is a teenager after all and thats what teens do! I was hoping she was going to change her mind and not go but she wants to go shopping! LOL Thats the reason she is going! She had a cell phone before but she broke it and we wouldn't buy her a new one until yesterday b/c she needs one when she is travelling. She as went through 1 phone, 2 digital cameras and 4 Ipods! We told her that this was her last phone. If she breaks it or loses it she is on her own. A basic cell phone, hooked up to her old # was $150! Good Lord...I wouldn't want to see what a non basic phones price is:confused:

O.k...I may bbl today. This is DH's computer and he takes it to work with him. Plus I am hosting that jewelry party tonight so I will be kept busy most of the day!

Morning girls, today is a rest day and a resting i will be:D;). here is my glorious calculations for today: NO kids(@school) + NO DH(@work) + NO workout = me on the couch watching movies all day:eek::eek::eek:.

I did think about cutting some grass...its hard for me to sit still these days:rolleyes:. Ive been doing some research on P90x...i can't believe the first phase in that program, 50% protein...:confused: thats almost 300grams of protein a day...mmmmm,i will need more protein shakes;). I plan on purchasing next week and starting on the 24th...im ready to BRING IT:cool:.

Belinda..where did you find those cathe tickers girl? Ive GOT to have one:eek: Enjoy your cardio today.

Lori-enjoy your run today and your jewelry party tonight! How is your leg doing? Has it gave you anymore trouble? Sending safe trip vibes to your DD...

Good Morning Ladies

Today was Legs and Glutes.....it was a halfway decent workout..it's been a minute since I"ve really concentrated on legs....a bit weaker but in time I'm sure that will come back (even though that might mean putting on the few pounds that I have lost....grrrr)

Amelia- enjoy your day to yourself!! But if your'e anything like me, it really just sounds good in theory! After about a half hour I get antsy and wonder what in the hell I"m going to do with myself...lol

Lori- What jewelery party are you doing again??

Belinda- What workout did you end up doing?

Hey, have any of you guys pre-ordered STS cardio?? I"m seriously considering it......a variety of shorter cardio's is right up my alley....because it's cardio that I get bored with easily...

Oh and still no results yet from the MRI....I'm going to take that as no news is good news....I think if somethign was really found they would not have wasted any time in getting back to me, right?

Iris-Yes...no new is good news!!! And you were right...after posting this morning i had a bannana then went straight outside to cut some grass, it took me about two hours(with some water breaks) but its over and done with. Awesome job on L&G's, i have a love/hate relationship with that one:confused:

I just did CCV1!:p The weather broke for about 35 min., when I ran home it started to rain again. I was lucky:p I burned 450 cal. ,not bad.

I need to cool down. BBL!

Amelia, where is your ticker? LOL! I thought by now you will have one. Burn those calories while cutting the grass, girl! You and I need to master those pikes. LOL! I still can’t do them, lol. Enjoy your rest day. Maybe you need to eat more meat, girl. 300 grams of protein is a lot. What about carbs and your good fats? I know a lot of people on this forum done P90x, maybe they can give you some advice?

Lori, glad you have time to check in with us. LOL! Hope things will slow down for you soon. Sounds like you needed that sleep. Good for you. Enjoy your party and run later. Let us know how the party went.

Iris, you will not gain weight, if you watch your food intake. I didn’t gain any weight for months and I couldn’t workout. You are doing great, keep up the good work. Awesome job on your leg workout today. I love L&G.

Belinda...my ticker isn't working? I went to the link you gave me, then clicked on cathe fun, then put in my weight information and checked the box that stated" insert into signature' and nothing? Not sure whats going on...i will try agian later:rolleyes:

P90x calculations for me are 2400 cals a day, 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fat. I have to follow that for a month, then i can increase my fat and lower my protein in phase 2. (if im losing weight in phase 1 i can go a couple of more weeks at that ratio before moving onto phase 2)

Awesome job on your workout girl, enjoy dinner!

Hello. Not sure if everyone sees my posts since they are on so late....when I come on the next day, they are no where to be found?

Anyway, Busy day, just got back from my run....very excited as I added to my usual 30-35 minutes.....49 minutes! 659 calories DOWN!!!! Very happy with that.

Belinda - glad the weather cooperated......two workouts to go for a rest week.....wondering what to do with my "active rest"......how is yours going?

Iris - Agreed, no news is good news. I waited to mammogram results and finally called them. Good news and the nurse told me....if it is urgent, your doc would call you straightaway. I did pre-order STS Cardio - I need the variety.....can't wait for it to arrive.

Lori - Good luck with your jewelery party......more like HAVE FUN, as women & jewelery = a successful event.

Amelia - AHHHHHHHHHH, a day on the couch watching movies. That is a dream! And you get to select the movies (no kiddie & DH pleasing flicks). What did you choose?

Iris: I did pre-order STS cardio, I am still kicking myself in the butt that I didn't get STS pre-order. I should have known better, I end up getting Cathe's DVDs most of the time. I am really looking forward it.

Amelia: I saw that after you create the tickers, you have to go in to the section where you edit your profile and save changes for them to activate. But maybe you already have them working by now.

Gianna: Thanks for the time zone info. Reminds me of my family, never easy to Skype with everybody at the right time (2 siblings in Asia, parents in France and I'm in upstate NY). Lot's of fun.

Gianna, Belinda, Iris and Amelia: I am amazed at all your workouts (including the couch day that turned into 2 hours of gardening!). You are all very motivating. I hope I can make it sound this easy in the future as well.

This morning I managed to only get the first three drills of Drill Max (cardio and legs premix). My little one had gotten up at 2:30 in the morning and I had a hard time getting up later on. But I did all I could before I really had to stop and get to work. Tomorrow is Disc 5 and maybe some Yoga in the evening.
 
Awesome run Gianna..nice cal burn girl! I never did watch a movie..i ended up reading in my nice quiet living room:D have a good night!

Way to go on your workout Helened!! Drillmax is TOUGH!! Have fun with Disc 5 and yoga tomorrow! Thanks for the heads up on the tickers, after reading your post i went and saved it in my user cp and it seemed to do the trick. Congrats on your weightloss so far...thats fabulous:)
 
Gianna, I do read all the post, don’t have for personals. Nice calorie burn, girl! For my recovery week, I will do yoga and running. That’s it! What are your plans? Hope your meeting went well.

Helene, you are doing STS plus circuits workouts? WTG, on DM. How is STS going? Congrats on your weight loss.

Amelia, is P90x a circuits or heavy weight lifting program? Glad you got to relax today, can't wait to do that next week.

I will have more coffee, than off to do disc 11! You guys are going to bed and I am working out:p:D

Nice ticker Amelia, and: WOW, that's amazing, congrats on your weight loss so far.

Belinda: I only did the cardio and legs premix of Drill Max in the middle of two arm days. I think that premix is more cardio than anything else. I chickened out though because I could have selected the double cardio mix but now that would have probably killed me :eek:
