Jewish soul-food in New Jersey........

Cathlete
I call upon you, my NJ Cathletes, Catheites, lurkers, and good people.

I'll be visiting May's Landing this weekend on Saturday, staying in Mt. Laurel Friday night and Saturday night. I want to pick up some whitefish salad and lox to bring back home.

Recommendations? Places open on Sunday morning as we leave town are particularly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey Suzanne--I can't help you w/Mays Landing, but I grew up in the Mount Laurel area. Your best bet for a good Jewish deli is Cherry Hill--this one is right on the Mt Laurel border:

There was also one in Marlton right across from the Traino's liquor store off of Greentree Road, but I'm not sure if it's still there.

Oh, Holy Moly, Laura! I'm drooling. This may be even more exciting than all those gorgeous, half-dressed Brits and others in that other thread........:p

Thank you!!!

Laura! Two thumbs way way up for the Kibbutz Room! I just enjoyed a shamelessly over-piled bagel with cream cheese and a TON of whitefish salad. I'm so happy.......:p:D:p

Thanks for the excellent rec.
