Oh my, you all are chatty today!

Morris, luckily this was not a bad flood, the carpet just gets soaked when we get heavy rain. It happens every spring. We did have a bad basement flood in the previous place we lived--no fun! How was Aidan's first birthday?

Kate, we have big trees around our house, too. Remember the tornado-like storm we had this time last year? It brought half of our neighbor's HUGE oak tree down into our yard. It missed the glassed-in back porch by inches. We were very lucky!

Angie, enjoy the snuggling!

Patti, the sandwich rounds sound yummy!

Robin, LOL on *you* not being enabling! No wonder you're thinking about getting a job! Did you get gas yet?

I gotta run--hi to everyone else! It's been a busy afternoon, but very productive. And the sun is shining, so I'm planning to run tonight. Yay!

anne

Kate: Thanks on the sausages- I'll check for them. Sounds good. My BIL's whole house was caved in by a huge tree last year during the weird hurricane like winds we had in Ohio. Good thing they were out camping at the time! What a fluke, huh?

Katie: I look at documents that are going to be produced- for instance, corporate memos or financial statements. Then I check the box- is it relevant? Privileged? Does it have important info in it? Zzzzzz. Anyway, it's work and it's easy so I won't complain anymore.

Anne: Glad the sun is out for your run tonight- enjoy!

Morris: I think personal chef sounds better than coding documents! Besides, I'm also a personal chef to 2 little people and 1 big one! You probably are, too. :) I know Kate most certainly is! ;)

Need to go have a quick cardio session and burn off some blubber! BBL.

Patti, I saw what you posted in the OD thread about your first concert. Seriously? Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm amazed you admitted it too!

I'm trying to be funny--not judgmental! I hope you take it that way...

anne

need to check out that concert thread!

anne, that storm was the night of my sis's grad @ breslin. wasnt sure if wed make it!

Sounds yummy, Kate. Tap starts again in the fall. There's a summer session, but I won't have time for it if I'm going to train for the half marathon.

I'll see you all in the morning!

anne

Anne: It was too funny to keep it to myself! :D Everyone had these cool answers so I had to throw in my lame one just for fun. :p I still remember it so vividly, isn't that weird? I must have been about 13 or so.

Kate: Dayton, which is about an hour or so north of Cincinnati and the Kentucky border. And thanks but my recent indulgences always show up right in my mid section. Gotta get it off off off!

Leftovers tonight- love this soup. I got the idea from this recipe board and added / changed a few things.

Creamy chicken tomato soup

1 cup of plain, nonfat greek yogurt
1 can tomato sauce
1 cup uncooked quinoa
1 carton of chicken broth
1 yellow squash, shredded
Chicken breast
Juice from fresh lemon
Couple of glugs of soy sauce

Prepare quinoa according to package directions. Put the chicken in the pan and season with plenty of salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut up chicken and add to quinoa when it is done. Add yogurt, yellow squash, lemon juice, soy sauce, broth, some garlic and tomato sauce. Simmer and serve.

Had 12.5 ounces of chicken, plus a little less than a cup of yogurt.

ugh.... i want to wo... but for some odd reason my back is killing me! and not in a doms way!:confused::( need to take a long shower for this #$#$#@ milk duct, payroll awaits too.:rolleyes::rolleyes: what to do???

chatty chicks :D Do any other group chat like we do.

Anne yes I got my gas and some food.

Kate you may need to soak in a hot tub...but first where is my check;) I have big pine trees to worry about.

Patti thanks for the recipe.

see ya

oooh, the hot tub does sound nice! w/ a jet right on my sore spots! maybe i can persuade m to skip his wo & join me!;)

I just accidentally fell asleep for a few minutes. I think I need to pack it in for the night. No clue what's up with me today!

Sleep tight, katie!!:D:D:D

Well, I DID do a WO. A mini tho! I did BM2 combo 1 and UB weights. I couldn't resist. And it loosened up my back!

I was ****this close***** to going out to pick up ice cream to eat in the lazy boy while I did payroll. Decided to WO instead!

On to payroll I go! blech!:p

Kate: Way to resist ice cream AND fit in a workout. I love BM2. Yes, I do count my calories. I started doing it on myfitnesspal and now I have a GoWearFit. I found out that I burn far more calories than I thought and wasn't eating enough. I was so happy I almost cried. :p But the past few weeks I wasn't using it or logging my food and I was waaaay over what I needed. Amazing how gadgets only work if you USE them.

Patti, What about all the homemade stuff?? Do you enter your recipes on a site that spits out what the nutritional info is? I am SO intrigued by the GWF but am hesitant about having it strapped on all the time. I worry about creating eating disorder behavior in my girls. AND my family already gets on me for being too thin, which I clearly am NOT! DH doesn't so, thank goodness! If they saw me wearing that they would have me committed!

-
Payroll is done! Off to massage/scald my boob in the hot shower!
