Good morning!

Todays workout was 8 mile run on the treadmill followed by abs from core max. Will be back later to post my eats for the day. Have a great day everyone!

This morning I did the cardio and abs/planks from SJP. I was supposed to do IMAX 3, but after doing STS Legs yesterday it just didn't seem like a good option. I'm not crippled from legs, but definitely pretty sore in my glutes and hamstrings. From my STS experience I know that often the worst DOMS come at about 36 hours post workout.

Tonite is Burn Interval which is 2 mins of HIIT cardio followed by 2 mins of lite wts. then Ab Burner.

Lourdes-great job on the run I get bored on the TM anything over 30min.

I managed to get up and get my cardio this morning - Step Blast minus the challenge and abs from Power Hour. I'm supposed to do a 5K tomorrow if it doesn't rain so I tried to do a lower impact, no blasts/plyos, type of cardio workout.

Cathy - I'm with you on the STS legs. The day after you "think" it might still possibly work out for you to do Imax 3, BUT I have made the mistake and won't do that one again LOL. My DOMS seems to start setting in exactly 24 hours later and then 36 hours later I have a new set of DOMS on muscles I didn't know existed. I'm always amazed how that happens. Those dang plates....

I love running on the treamill, there so much you could do. My first 5 miles are always steady run, then after that in pure intreval I just love the feeling I get from doing intrevals.

Lourdes - you're plain crazy! :D I'm with Roxy - I get bored silly on the treadmill. I used to do all of my running on the dreadmill at the gym until I discovered running outside. Now I only do tempo drills at the gym because I can manage my pace (or it helps manage for me). Though, it might be very different if I had my own and set up in front of a tv that I controlled. All that being said, I'm not terribly fond of running period. LOL.

My the oposite I get bored running outside. My husband has been trying to get me to run outdoors for ever. First I'm crazy scared of all human evil things that out there and 2nd scared to death of dogs. I workout extremely early in the morning between 3-3:30am and going outdoors at that time is a no, no, for me that would set me up for failer. I have 5 boys plus I run a small daycare from home no time to go to the gym or leave and workout outdoors. Have a good day!

Holy Cow!! That's beyond early. That's what I call middle of the night! There is no way I'd try to run outside at that time either. I say kudos to you for getting up that early to fit exercise into your routine!!!!

Meals for the day.

Meal 1: protein shake (5 strawberries, cup of blueberries, 1/2 banana, 2tbs flaxeed)

Meal 2: 1/2 cup of go lean high protein cereal, 10 almonds/10 walnuts, cup skim milk

Meal 3: Protein shake (4 strawberries 1/4 cup of blueberries

Meal 4: 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with the 1/2 of the banana

Meal 5: Extra lean 4oz beef patty, 2 cups of veggies, small red bake potatoe

Meal 6: 2 hard boil egg whites

Holy cow I am just going back to sleep at that time, I can't even get up at 6 to workout.
 
Todays Eats

Brkfst-1 hard boiled egg, grapefruit and whole wheat toast
Lunch-1/2 pb sand, carrots, jello pudding fat free cup, banana
PM snack-almonds and Cheese
supper don't know yet.
 
Didn't do Burn Interval instead I did Basic Step with 1 set of risers. Had a headache didn't feel like doing anything intense. Then I did Ab Burner.
 
I've learned (the hard way) to listen to my body more often. When you're not up to it, you're just not. You still did more than most people though!
