Good morning ladies,

Welcome to a new week! The girls go back to school today and I think they're ready! We function so much better with routine!

Gotta go get them in the tub and off to school.

Today is 10-10-10 cardio and then that cardio quick fix thing again. I'll report after it's done. At least I'll get to do it while the girls are at school.

I'm feeling DOMS from my WOs y'day - especially in my chest. Those drop set push ups are killer! And I only did the timesaver...

Good Morning & Happy New Week to Angie and all to follow...

Angie, I do better with routine too. Last week was crazy with constant birthday activities and such, my eating was NOT stellar. According to the scale, I seem not to have done too much damage, but I just feel defeated.

We have lots of leftover fruits and veggies from Collin's party so I will be eating those for my snacks this week. NO MORE CUPCAKES for me!

Today's workout will be Disk 10 -- I'm starting week four or Meso 1 -- very exciting!
 
Morning Katie! I forgot you had daylight savings this week so was surprised to see you up so early. :):) Good luck with week 4! You guys are all doing so great!!

Finished with my WO. For some reason I thought I was supposed to do CTX 10-10-10 but it was KB so I did that and then instead of the cardio quick fix I went for a run - I'm not ready to give up yet and it was SO beautiful outside. I did a total of 16 min running/5 min walking (in intervals of course) but it felt great. We'll see how I progress.

Going to the grocery store for some healthy food. Ryan made pb cookies last night... grrrr!

Have a quiet morning to myself. No French lessons this week since my sister might come into town. She's waiting on her passport.

katie, have fun w/ 10! im terribly sore from 12. but i love deadlifts! the lb sts stuff is my fave lb wo's ever. hope i like meso2!
good plan on the produce! cupcakes are kryptonite!!!

will wo while dds are at school. hoping to do cc2 and cs today....yeah right! i'll prob have to pick!

anne, sounds like you had a nice weekend....and im jealous of your shopping!!!!

morris, i hope work goes good today. sorry abt the headache...ouch. lol on the laundry. i didnt do 1 load all weekend....oops. its kinda overflowed now:eek:.

Okay, change of plans -- I went and got back in bed with my husband:eek:;) Will do disk 10 tomorrow!

Running late, grumpy 4 year old, will bbl with personals.

I'm here!!

I'm sorry I didn't check in all weekend. This place sucks me in and I knew if I sat down on Saturday, it'd be hard to get everything done. I worked out on Saturday-did STS 9 and the abs and stretch from 4DS KB. Yesterday was supposed to be a run and STS 8, but it never happened. We went to my mom's before noon and stayed til 8! I did a bunch of her laundry, changed sheets, etc. and just hung out. She does have a treadmill, but it's basically a closet!

So, the party-it was fun. Not nearly as glamourous as I expected. I ended up buying a sleeveless floral print chiffon top. Wore it with black cuffed trousers. Good thing, too, cause it was the uniform of the evening! Darrin's mom said we looked great, but who believes their MIL? I'll post the picture as soon as Darrin uploads it-there's only one cause when we got to the event, the camera died. We went out for a few beers after-water for me-I'd killed the calorie count with dinner and dessert! It was nice to get out with no kids, I must admit:)

Today is back on the wagon-eats will be good, workout will get done! I need to do STS 8 from last week and a run/walk.

Angie, I love routine, too. The weekends when Darrin is home even throw off my schedule too much! Are you ready for the Big 10 Tournament this week? Shold be good!

Katie, glad to hear Collin's party was a success! A workout is a workout!;)

Kate, I need to play some laundry catch up too. I need more detergent first though!

Gotta get the girls on the bus...
 
Klaudia, so glad you had fun at the party! Can't wait to see pics. Hope your wo is a good one today. I am excited for the tourney but wish I could watch live!

Kate, is Gina still not feeling well? How does the school do with absences?

So, I'm pretty well on track to give Ryan a bday gift every day for the month of April! Got lots of books and movies and the last day in April we'll be in Chicago and my mom is going to watch the kids while Ryan and I go downtown for the day, to the cubs game at night, and then stay at the wyndham on the mag mile! YAY! What an end to a fabulous month of birthday!

Need to make my grocery list while Ellie is napping... bbl!
 
Good Morning Everyone!

STS Disc 13 just about killed me this morning. At point I thought I would have to stop because I felt a little week. I took a longer break and got right back to it. I feel a little sore now but I think I am going to be really sore later. The weather is nice again today so I might go for a short run tonight. It is dark now in the morning when I get up so I will have to wait a little while to run in the mornings.

Klaudia, glad you had a good weekend and had some time to spend with your Mom.
Kate, sorry Gina's staying home from school but it sounds like she needs the extra rest after being so sick.
Katie, don't worry about disc 10. You had a busy week last week and needed the extra time to decompress.
Angie, that's so nice that your sister might come. I hope her passport gets here soon.

Colleen, it was so hard for everyone here to wake up this morning for school, too-dark and cold here. I can't wait to run outside!

Ok, here's one for you-I was just on FB and read a post from my neighbor-from her elliptical! "Rene has 10 minutes left on the elliptical..." Come on! Really?! And they wonder why they can't lose weight!
 
Good morning Colleen! I hate that it gets dark in the mornings after daylight savings! It's so hard to get out of bed! Great job finishing your STS disc this AM!

Klaudia, LOL about the FB post. That's hilarious. My friend calls me while she's on the treadmill at the gym some mornings - she's barely breathing hard. Cracks me up. What a waste of time. :rolleyes:

Kate, I remember when I was in grade school there used to be awards for going to school everyday. I was too much of a sickling for that!

There is an open bag of chips in front of me... who put it there?!?!?:mad::mad::mad:

angie - those kids that get awards....there was a funny email about hating those kids and their moms....bec the moms send the kids to school sick so they can get that award and then YOUR kid gets sick! ha!!!

Angie, I forgot to tell you I love the movie Clueless! I used to have it on VHS. Very funny and cute. I'm glad you guys are back to your routine now. I thrive on that, too.

Kate, sorry Gina is still sick. I just shake my head at people who send sick kids or go to work sick. It makes me mad.

Colleen, I'm waiting for it to be a little lighter and warmer to start running in the morning. I have to start my 10K training program next week, so spring better get here soon!

Klaudia, the party sounds nice! I'm glad you got to have time out without the kids. And LOL about your FB friend.

Okay, I *really* wanted to stay in my nice, warm, snuggly bed this morning, but I got up and did the Muscle Max UB Push/Pull premix. I've never done that one, so I thought it would be fun to try something new. I did the abs, too, so that's good. I think I might do Low Max tomorrow, I don't remember the last time I did that work out. Maybe I'll just have a hard core series week.

Oh, and good news! A problem with that new web site got solved this morning. It wasn't a major issue, but something annoying that I couldn't figure out. And now it's fixed. That was a good way to start Monday morning.
