Fitnessfreak's December Rotation for 12/12

Fitvix - I will figure out what your calorie range should be but give me time. I can't find the documents here (I have them at work). So I need to look through my BFFM manual and then I'll get backt o you.

Today I was extra groggy - so I did the entire Imax2 on the 6inch step instead of the usual 8. My legs (butt especially) are a wee bit sore from yesterdays workout - but I managed to make it through the cardio alright. I did especially well on interval 9 which surprised me! Usually when she does those plio jump thingys my legs feel ultra heavy and I can hardly click my heals together - but for whatever reason, I did pretty good today! YAY!

Yesterday someone commented that they hadn't seen improvements on the scale at all but just felt and maybe looked like they saw changes - dito here! The scale hasn't budged either way for me yet - but I swear I can see a difference. (maybe I need glasses...)

Not a whole lot going on this weekend. My husband and I are probably going to see a Irish band downtown tomorrow night. We also need to work on the basement (gym). I have had to move my "gym" upstairs to the living room while we insulate and redo the basement area. Unfortunately - my husband isn't very ambitious about the project. (probably because he said he would start working out when the gym was complete....sure....)

Anyway - it looks like everyone did really good today with their workouts - I am looking forward to a rest on Sunday. :)
 
Slept in this morning (bliss) and did IMAX 2 while the kiddos took a nap this afternoon. I felt like I had more energy for the workout so that was good. I have also noticed better stamina in IMAX 2 than when I started doing it. It still kicks my butt, though.

Have a great weekend everyone! We do swim classes for the kids on Saturdays and then just hang out the rest of the weekend. :)
 
Hi! Today was GS Legs for me, I upped my weights from what I normally use and boy did I feel it! :eek: Still not as high as some but I'll get there someday.

Squats - 55#
Front Lunges - 10's
Rear Lunges - 10's
Plie Squats - 35#
Leg Press w/ green band
Elevated Deadlifts - 45#
Stiff Deadlifts - 45#
Slow motion lunges - 5's

Upping the weights really made the floor work harder because my legs were toasted!

I would sneak all of you in. I much rather go to the spa with my girlfriends than all alone. man oh man, am I feeling my legs after yesterdays workout and todays cardio.

Managed to do about 30 minutes of Imax2. I'm not a step lover, but usually Imax2 is one of my favorite step workouts, but not today, lol. Just wasn't feeling the love. My legs and butt were also a bit sore from yesterdays G.S. Leg workout. Finished my cardio workout with 20 minutes of Triple Threat KB. That's it for tonight.

Do all of you ladies workout at home only, or do some of you go to the gym also? I used to take kickboxing classes at a Taekwondo studio, and have been working out at home only since August when my membership expired. I've been thinking of joining a gym, because sometimes I feel like I cannot get an uninterrupted workout at home, while other times I really enjoy the privacy of working out at home. Just curious about what you ladies do?
