I'm so sick of all the politcal ad's

I'm just fed up with all the political advertisements on tv. Sick of the whole thing.

Spent 3 hours standing in line to vote early.

I'm tired of hearing about 9 yrs olds stealing political signs, people claiming to be beat up for their political opinions, and all the political posturing. There is a huge lack of repect for other people's opinions or their property. It's sad.

As I suspected ...

Parker, I just knew you had to live in Georgia! (I do too!) Be glad you waited only three hours. I've heard through the AJC that the lines are much longer today.

And if you're in the metro area, you know it's the perfect storm for the worst traffic of the year: Friday, Halloween, early voting!

But good for you; you got it over with. I suspect the lines are going to be horrendous on Tuesday, when the rest of us go!

Happy Halloween!

I am too and I'm in California. Every commercial break there is an ad. I always vote absentee so I can sit and really read everything. You can't even trust the ads anymore because they always say the worst. You have to really sit and look over everything. I'm just exhausted with politics right now. I'm sick of all the mud slinging but at the same time I'm happy that more people are taking advantage of our right to vote. Despite all the differences I'm happy and proud to live in a country where we have the honor and privilage to vote and where our votes can make a difference.

I'm excited about the election, but I completely ignore the ads. Like Janie said, you can't trust any of them to be straightforward and unbiased.

Oh, I am so sick of the ads, too! DH and I were watching the news. And after what seemed to be 15 minutes of straight political ads (usually the same ones over and over and over...) he turned to me and asked "Have we actually seen any news, or are there only political ads?" I had to think before I said, "Oh, no, the news was on briefly - remember we saw the weather forecast?"

I'm not that excited about this election. I'm more watching it like I would watch a head on collision that is about to happen. I seriously just want it to be over so all of the hate, sexism, racism and just out and out meaness is finished for another few years. I have to say that this election has made me embarrassed to be an American.

Oh it is the litter on a stick that I can't stand.
And they stay around for days and days after the election is over.

I wish!

Christine, I wish that were the case, but I suspect that after the election, the meanness will be about the outcome. No matter what the result, a lot of people will be unhappy about it! :(

It's only 96 more hours!! I never thought I was going to say this because I am a political junkie but ..... I AM SICK OF IT

I live in Arizona and we usually don't get bothered a lot, however I have gotten 3 of those automated calls to my landline as well as my cell phoneTwo were from the RNC and the McCain campaign and one from a group I don't know attacking a local democratic candidate.

The ads don't bother me as much but for them to call my unlisted phone number and both numbers are on do not call lists. How the heck did they get my phone numbers anyway???

The calls were nasty and I felt this was an invasion of my privacy to call my home. I was so tempted to call them back and let them know what I think about them calling my home and my cell but then I thought it is pretty useless and I just get bent out of shape.

95 hours and 45 minutes and counting ......

They keep talking about all of the early voting lines here, but part of me still feels like the lines won't be that bad on Tuesday. (Sounds like everyone's voted already, LOL! And there are so few places to do early voting.) There have been other times when they've predicted long waits, and it hasn't happened to us so far. I know that this election will bring out a lot more voters, but I'm curious to see what actually happens on Tues.

I can't wait for it to all be over, but I kind of dread the reaction, depending on what happens.

Definitely sick of it.

Join the club! I have been clicking my heels for the last week and wishing myself home...There's no place like home...

You know I forgot to mention the phone calls. I've checked my caller ID and answering machine and I get at least 6 a night from the hours of 4-8pm. It is almost as bad as insurance sales people. It borderlines harrassment if you ask me. How the heck DID they get my phone number anyway???

Add me to the political junkies who are totally sick of this election. I was already fed up at the beginning of Sep. when DH suggested we use the money we had saved up for a trip to Italy on a cruise Sep 20 - Oct 10. When I realized I would be able to get away from the campaign for almost three weeks I was sold. I got the AZ robo calls too. Who on earth changes their vote based on those things? I wish I could just go to bed a wake up on Nov. 5th.
